As a South Australian, this video is epic
If you ever get back SA way, come to the Eyre Peninsula, so much wild coastal Blueberry accessible country and kangaroos :)
@@justiceO8149 don’t worry, I went there just a couple months ago, it’s stunning
Heaps good!
Tia's happiness at the animal park reached 11/10 😀I'm glad you had such a great experience.
The kangaroo was pretty happy when it was eating out of the bag too, judging by its raging boner.
Adelaide is definitely my favourite Australian city. It still feels like a country town. It is comfortably walkable and has the most amazing vibe.
Yet it's not a country town, a small city with all the facilities of a capital city.
Am from Sydney, moved to Adelaide, never going back, lifestyle is good.
This was one if favourite videos of australia so far. Tia just looked like she was in heaven.
Also, that postcard is beautiful. Well done Tia
So glad you guys enjoyed my home town!! Adelaide is a sleepy but beautiful coastal city!!
Same, I'm from Adelaide too
Not sleepy anymore with so.msny festivals ! ;)
@@iggyblitz8739 As an Adelaidean it does wake up in autumn, our best season. Not too hot, not too cold, but also not spring which alternates between cold, hot and stormy. Autumn is consistent, the best time to visit.
If leaving on 25th, make sure to get to Canberra to the War Memorial and museum. 25th April is ANZAC Day, a very special day for our fallen military personnel and their families. It starts with a dawn service.
Make sure you stop in Mt Gambier on your way to Victoria! We just did a lap of Australia and it was one of our favourite spots. Look up the sinkhole gardens and the blue lake. And don’t miss the Scroll Queens bakery 😊
The joy in Tia's soul with the animals 😂❤
I've seen so many videos of the standard backpacker route (Melbourne/ Sydney/ Gold Coast), that it's genuinely refreshing to see an outsiders perspective on the more quintesential parts of the country, the parts that Aussies put on their own bucket lists. You're also very good at making an entertaining vlog. Look forward to much more.
I never thought about Australia as a destination before but you guys make it look way more awesome through the exposure you've given it. Not a huge nature person but wow the huge variety in landscapes that seem alien is really cool
Come on down! You will be most welcome😊
Check out Kangaroo Island, off the coast of South Australia, if you’re interested in diverse landscapes, as despite its name, it’s not just about the wildlife, though that’s pretty impressive.
There’s stunning beaches - with Stokes Bay named best in the world for 2023 - unusual rock formations - such as Remarkable Rocks - craggy cliffs and wonderful walks - including Admiral’s Arch - great wineries, talented artists and artisans, delicious locally made honey along, with all manner of food treats and much, much more!
Hope you get to visit someday.
Come on down, mate! There’s way more than just nature…
Australia is not alien to me.Australia is my home.
Greatest country in the world bar none. Eternally thankful to have been born in this country and to live in it.
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed Cleland, it’s mine and my daughters favourite wildlife park. I’m born and bred in Adelaide SA and love my state. We are definitely underrated but I like that we’re a bit of a hidden gem. Enjoy your time in Australia 🇦🇺
Glad to see you both enjoyed the National Park!! But Adelaide is known as the City of Churches. And also a little fun fact: Echinas and Platypus are the only two mammals in the world that lay eggs.
Echidnas sometimes known as spiny anteaters are monotremes (egg-laying mammals) belonging to the family Tachyglossidae.
It really should be changed to the City of Festivals, it's not exactly a super religious place in general now so why not.
Whew! i was worried about y’all!! I kept saying to my husband, “I hope the kids are alright?!” and glad the hubcaps are baaaaaaaack! Woohoo!
Postcard: Marty & Courtney Ballestero
I’m an Aussie teacher and I just taught my kids about the Emu War a few weeks ago, initially the kids didn’t believe me either … I’m really enjoying your videos . Such nice Americans .
I love the picture of Tia and the koala 😄🥰, so cute!! Thanks for making such awesome videos. I’m a mom of 3 kids and I love that your channel is clean, fun, and that I can travel the world vicariously through you! Every time my 5 year old eats lunch with me, he asks if we can watch One Pack Wanderers!
Wow such a lovely vid. I'm starting to feel like a worried parent when you don't post for a few days...😂
Blueberry had broken down or you've given up on eating boring sandwiches & headed off home. Yay so good you made it safely.
Great pic with koala and Great Australian Bight postcard is magic.
You should be getting FREE entrance into all these places you visit & as VIP's with the positive promotion you do!!!. 😃
Tourism Australia should have you on their payroll. ⭐
I really love how, when you have a longer time in a country, you really get into the spirit of the places you visit. I think the best example was when you were in Thailand but Australia is a close second. I will be following you until to have completed this world odyssey, which maybe/ hopefully will never end. You are such engaging people that it is a joy to travel with you. Thank you so much.
I bet that Koala was just as excited to hold a Tia. I missed you guys, was worried you might've hung up the camera. I look forward to your episodes more than the Mandalorian..
No, no, we didn’t lose the Emu War, as it ended in a hard-fought draw. Besides, the emus didn’t fight fair… they wouldn’t stand still.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yep. I agree
Round trip to the US and back is an insane level of dedication to Australia. Grats to Tia's brother on the wedding!
Great moves, proud of you
Thank you
+1 for Tia drawing future postcards. That's a great idea! Maybe after a year you can put the 12 month collection up for sale? That would be awesome!
The look on your face was funny.
Tia could not stop smiling.
Glad you got to see some of Australian wildlife
I love seeing people who aren't from here enjoying their time here. I think I often take for granted how cool Adelaide actually is.
Yet again a awesome blog, really loving your time around Australia.
Great to see you're having fun!
Try Hahndorf, great sauerkraut etc and Barossa Valley for lots of wineries and Clare Valley etc, lots of wineries in SA and great wine too.
Later look at Naracoorte where they have caves that stored extinct bones of a massive wombat looking creature about 2m tall, they have an actual replica statue plus other replica extinct Roos etc at the museum, the extinct lion one is the meanest animal ever. Mount Gambier for the extinct crater. All the best
Tia is just like one of those super cute little puppies where, when it is excited, the tail wags the dog. She gets excited with her whole body. So contagious and fun to watch.
PS, if I haven't insulted you too much, I'd love a postcard please. *^^*
Great vid again! Safe travels guys
What a great vid! So much fun seeing all the joy visiting with the animals brought to Tia - very sweet. And that postcard looks professionally done - very talented! Glad you are staying down under a little longer - looking forward to more fun adventures! ☀️
Wonderful time spent in the park with animals. Good luck to you both!
love the energy and smiles, makes my day!!
The animals are so cute! Can’t wait to see more of Australia in your videos 😊
Great video, can’t wait to continue the journey with you!
I’m loving your content, can’t wait to see your many more adventures ❤️ 🇦🇺 I’m glad you both are enjoying Australia
If you wanted to splurge and have one really nice meal before the end of this part of your trip, head to the Barossa Valley Wineries in South Australia. They have such fresh, beautiful food. The Perth wineries in the Swan Valley and the wineries in the South West, such as Margaret River, also have exisite food, organic, fresh and so much flavour. Australia is known for really good food, we are foodies down here. I feel like you're missing out if you don't try it once.
Aweee the animals were so darn cute!!!❤️❤️❤️ Looks like you had an amazing time!!!
Love you guys! Keep up the great work🎉
Your visit to the zoo looked like so much fun! Can’t wait to see the rest of your Aus series.
The joy emanates from Tia being so happy seeing our local Aussie animals! Glad you guys got to visit a sanctuary, its so great and they look after the animals so well.
Wonderful drawing also Tia! Be sure to explore the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf and the wine country if that's your thing!

Great to see the joy on Tia’s face when meeting the wildlife. Cheers from Penang 🤩
So happy you are coming back to Australia. Love watching your videos. You are such a happy couple.
Hi guys, You will love the great Ocean road. Take some time to visit Port Fairy along the way
Been following your travels since Taiwan and have gone back to watch your earliest videos in Europe with my wife. Glad to see you guys made it through Nullarbor and looking forward to the next one!
❤ so happy to see you enjoying our beautiful country, enjoy the drive to Melbourne and when you get here enjoy the coffee culture it's amazing ! ☕
Thanks for giving us more glimpses of our beautiful country. You guys are adorable. 😃
This series of videos has been a great watch. Never gets old watching peoples reactions when they meet the local wild life. There is a park just east of Melbourne called Cardinia Reservoir Park where you can picnic with eastern grey kangaroos and bin chickens. Think seagulls are annoying, wait till one of these lands on the picnic table. Nice area to visit as well as it is adjacent to the Dandenong ranges. Which is also worth a look at especially William Ricketts Sanctuary.
I hope South Australia was fun for you and that you are enjoying Australia
Lovely to have you here in our humble city of Adelaide. Glad the weather's turning it on for you both.
As you head south on your journey drop into the coastal town of Robe. Great place for a walkabout.
WoW finally Tia got to see the animals. How cool and nice that was . Loved the Koala you got to hold. So sweet . Thx for sharing and loved your postcard you created. Such beautiful sites you two have seen. Glad you guys will continue after your bros wedding . 😊
This is great! We live in Adelaide, and it was lovely to see you have such a great time - Tia's love of animals made me happy! I am really pleased that you got to visit Cleland, we always take OS visitors there - it's a wonderful up close and personal opportunity to see native animals - and so close to the city. You both have a great eye for what to capture and I am so glad you enjoyed yourselves here in our beautiful, small-scale city. Enjoy your trip to Melbourne - one day you must visit Kangaroo Island - it didn't get that name for nothing! and I hope you pop/popped into beautiful Robe on your way south
That’s an awesome looking postcard!
Welcome to Adelaide! It was amazing meeting you both today. You guys are awesome!
You two are so much fun to watch and your smiles light up my tv screen. Tia your face when you held that Koala in your arms was magical. Looking forward to the rest of your travels and when you return to amazing Australia.
The joy i now have deep in my soul from watching you two over the last few months is immense, thank you so much for sharing your travels with us!
I've been waiting every day for this video, and finally it's up. So pleased you got to enjoy a small part of my beautiful city. Tia, I love your reaction around the animals, so genuine. Keep travelling and be safe ❤❤
Ooh ooh postcard!! Also, I recommend William Ricketts sanctuary in Melbourne & Norman Lindsay gallery in the Blue Mountains Sydney :)
Tia's Joy in this video is just what I need at work today. THANK YOUUUU 👍👍👍
Postcard is fantastic!
You two are my favorite Vlogers, you exude love!
That postcard looks amazing -- Tia is obviously very talented. I'd love to receive one!
Nice experiente you both had at wildlife park 😍 feel jealous! I’m loving watching you both.. keep going and thanks for sharing it
The photo of Tia and the Koala smiling how cute ❤ Also how amazing is your post card artwork! Would love to be sent it 😍
Tia's a very talented artist, clearly! Great to see an outsider's view of hometown Adelaide. If you have time I'd recommend diverting through the Grampians en-route to Melbs. Also the bottle-o at the Royal Oak Hotel in Penola has a spectacular collection of the local Coonawarra wines, many of them much older than you find regularly on the shelves.
Hello, or G'Day! From Perth WA. Such a joy watching you both enjoying the experience here in Australia!. Having the time of your life! Safe travels. As we look forward to the next one. Beautifully designed post card from Tia. - Steve
Welcome to Adelaide! ☺
How great is that little bounce in Tia’s step when she is excited about something, reminds me of all the history Tia saw In Japan finally after studying about it. The postcard looks amazing Tia weld one on creating your own. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you guys with the great ocean road exploration.
Love learning about indigenous animals and lesser known facts about animals. thank you
Binging your videos. So wholesome. You guys are really great! Tia - you’re like my long lost sister! Can’t stop smiling. Great stuff guys x
congrats on your arrival to Adelaide, you made it!! Beautiful city, and tia you acheived your goal, you met the wilde life, so cute you and the panda!! Love the post card you designed, very talented. Enjoy your bothers wedding back in the USA. Looking forward to more travels!! As always thank you!!😄
The sweat thing was new news and good to know
Our Home City!! So glad you guys enjoyed yourself there, it's an absolute gem.
Also a big fan of Chevs accent when you said 'Melbourne' at 15:23 sounded like a local!
