- Drones are awesome, except when you crash. Trust me, I've previously crashed a $5000 DJI Inspire 1. This Eachine 'Small Pepper' E013 is a really affordable and fun FPV drone that can take a beating. I prefer to fl cheap drones unless I need to film footage, it's more relaxing and enjoyable.
The 3 inch goggles are small but functional. They have their own in built screen, so you can see what the drone sees without using your phone as the display. As you can see, the image signal can be fuzzy intermittently. Indoors this is a problem when you fly into other rooms, outdoors it isn't really an issue. Turning your head to face the drone helps a lot, which I didn't do while recording.
I researched this independently as a test for the new Banggood Australian warehouse. I paid for it with my own money and receive no reward of any kind for suggesting this warehouse. The product arrived within 48 hours as promised, I was pleased.
This is a great beginner drone for kids, or even to entertain them with the goggles while you fly it around.
Thanks to Mrs Teaching Tech for doing much of the outdoor filming while I was flying.

Nice test
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Great review. Cheers buddy 👍
Thanks for watching :)
I've always been a Heli enthusiast, so great review :)
I've had some cheap and nasty helis in the past. One crash and they never seem to be the same.
I used to fly Hirobo Shuttles mostly, perfect for the beginner but able to do tricks if setup correctly, great fun if noisy :D
When it finally breaks turn it in to fpv hovercraft.
I would get one but my corners are empty.
Great vid looked like it was lots of fun.
A hovercraft is definitely something I'd like to do in future.
You should maybe look at taking it apart and 3D printing a new base so that you can possible fit a larger battery and see how that goes RCLifeOn has attempted this and enjoyed it and if you’re interested I’d watch his video before attempting because he talks about the difficulties and problems he had and kinda mentions how he got around them or possible fixes, but also I think it would be awesome to have one that when you turn your head with the goggles on like your kids did, possibly have the camera move some, now that would probably be a complete custom build or something with a gyro and a servo but hey more ideas
This one I'll leave intact but I do have a little hexapod I backed on Kickstarter a few years back sitting doing nothing.
Charging time?
Dos this hover, or do you have to keep your thumb on the stick?
Thumb on the stick, but easy to keep a stable height than other cheap drones I have flown.
A great alternative to this is the furibee f36 and a cheap AIO camera/vtx. Solder it on and you're good to go for $30 :).
Thanks for watching and sharing your knowledge.
Finally you play that toy!
Hahaha
Eachine have some cheap clones that are meant to be ok.
Didn't realise you were Aussie!
Indeed I am :)
Had that drone. Tossed it in the trash. Big waste of money.
How come?
Yes, how come? Interested to know ow your experience differed from mine.
Losing a Mavic is a big waste of money. Obviously this little thing doesn't give the same experience, nor the same heartache when it all goes wrong.
