The Floof Factor (a term I just coined you're welcome biologists and historians around the world) I think was crucial for the success of the housecat, because whilst snakes are much more flexible and, for their body mass, can access much smaller spaces, making them more effective at pest control; cats are fluffy and cute looking so instead of killing them and making up weird superstitions about 'em like we did any and all snakes we encountered (milk snakes are called milk snakes because people thought they'd suck off their cows and steal their milk, true story), we just let them hang out and petted them. Also cats domesticated themselves, not the other way around. They just sort of hung out with us until evolution made us more compatible, instead of what we likely did with wolves, which is kidnap their children and raise them as part of the family for thousands of years.
Peculiar Portions needs an MST3K adjacent reaction/roasting overlay on top of the original video with other Yogcast members commenting about the video during the video. Maybe a main host and a guest Yogs member that changes each episode. I think that would give these vids way more rewatchablity (at least for me.) Still love it though.

Lewis is trying his best to play the scene out and at every turn, Simon is trying to ruin it in order to force Lewis to scramble harder and harder to fix and make it work despite this. I don't think I'd have it any other way, honestly.
Maybe its better to put the disclaimer before the actual start of the video for next videos as I only looked at the description when I heard the crackling sounds.
