- HE RAGED QUIT! HE RAGE QUIT, OH MY GOSH, HE WAGED QUIT, OH MY GOSH. In this TiHYDP, Phil plays Super Mario Bros. Wonder for day one views, & dies a lot. Phil tries to go for 100%, so I fudged up the numbers a but by including time fails & not getting the top of the flagpole (but only if he didn't get it prior). I was expecting a rage quit, but not that soon, I was really disappointed, I wanted a night of rage, not an early wage quit followed by chill & boring qna. Just like real life, Phil spends all of his purple coins on worthless Jpegs rather than investing them in extra lives for the Final Final Test. What a moron.
Tips are low, so Phil pretends to like the game, but deep down, he hates the lack of monetary compensation. He does a lot of cringe clown mode in this video.
I was disappointed with the lack of fails in Alan Wake 2 & Spider-Man 2, & the TiHYDP for those where not worth the time investment I put into those, but this one was. I made Death TiHYDPs for Alan Wake 1 & Spider-Man 1 & both had tons of salt, so it sucks the sequels are much easier & more casual experiences on normal difficulty.
This will probably be the last modern DSP TiHYDP of 2023 I'll make, since all the playthroughs minus CoD are going to be boring chill experiences, & I move on a long time ago from making proper DSP TIHYDPs & stick to the Death Edition format unless it's a passion project like a DSP & John Co-op playthrough that's on the shorter side.
I already have a bunch of legacy DSP Death Edition TiHYDP made up to January 2024, so I'm ahead of schedule, but I'll start posting 1 or 2 a week as I don't want to release too many videos too close together, unless I'm trying to get a recent modern tihydp out asap, like this one.
Next video will be up on Mon 11/20, & it's TiHYDP Mount your Friends which will be TiHYDP 169. Phil & John play a game involving men in speedos & both moan really loud the whole time, It's a strange one. Then Wed 11/22 is TiHYDP Nier Replicant Death Edition, which has all the deaths from that playthrough. I never made a proper TiHYDP Nier Replicant for Routes B-E, but that would take too much time, & Phil gets way too much money in that playthrough, so it would be super chill & boring.
Then on Fri 11/24 I finally release TiHYDP TMNT Mutants in Manhatten, where Phil rages a lot for a game that's super easy, but has a revive mechanics, which carries Phil throughout the game. It's a kids game, so Phil had his expectations set way too high for this one, but it is Platinum Games & it is much lower quality than there usual work.

Origami king killed the vest streak. rage quit Kirby and Wonder, rages at Metroid Dread and quit super metroid, Raged like mad during Mario Tennis and golf, Fire emblem went on a large hiatus and made him change the rules of viewers choice, garbage at smash bros, and Tears of the Kingdom perfectly showcased how bad he is. something about Nintendo games can just push phil's buttons. Maybe its because they tend to be designed as games first and so face tanking isn't always gonna win.

Also, I’m going to make my own TiHYDP of this for the new year, gonna have to deal with Phil’s Clownality Pokemon Scarlet playthrough first.
And it's unfortunate that pigroach sucks at the three kings of platformer games since I am a connoisseur at those games than him XD

Phil hates "kids games" because they make him look stupid. COD he can blow off because "everybody hates COD, Infinity Ward are lazy and greedy, dood" but not this one.
At this point, half of his "skill" is unwillingness to play anything but WWE Champions and half blow through everything as quickly as possible, but after watching multiple old TIHYDPs, he always checked out about halfway through and grew angrier and angrier as game "dragged on". He is alergic to ANY effort, even when comes to videogames he "loves". Street Fighter is perfect for him because matches are very short and keep his attention but anything longer, just no. Doesn't matter if it's an action game or a stealth game, he cannot concentrate and keep attention. That is why he is always clowning, being angry and complaining, he is just bored by games he plays.

If phil is struggling on the final badge test level,he should of go for nabbit and instead of yoshi because Nabbit didn't have that BS knockback unlike Yoshi and he's useful and can be fun to breeze through the special world levels
