@@onceuponawalkingdeadpll8355 rolled oats isnt a brand it’s a type of oat. your container should say somewhere on it if it’s rolled oats or not. i’m assuming it’ll work just fine
This is SO delicious!!! I’ve made this several times and it comes out beautifully. I use 5 prunes instead of banana. Have also added some of my homemade apple sauce. It can be adjusted with variations as long as the oats, milk, egg, baking powder is in there. You can use maple syrup, agave, etc. blueberries 🫐. It’s fun to experiment!

I made this and it's great. I used only 1 tbs honey and some xylitol to sweeten. Next time, I will take out the chocolate and add a little butter and blueberries instead. Thanks!

Is not just about the "unhealthy" ingredients it has. Is also about the better ones. This recipe is healthier compared to any cake or pop tart in the morning.

Pinch of salt" So no, the mayority of the sugar content comes from the 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup. Fine for an occasional dessert, but its full of sugar nonetheless.

@@r27_06 I answered to this "It's from the banana it's not added sugad", which is BS. And ofc you can swap sugar for a low-calorie maple syrup, but then its a different recipe. As @Bow Bow Bow Bow said, this exact "Healthy Baked Oats" recipe is not healthy at all.

@@sincerelyyangels3321 it’s a lot if you’re eating in a deficit but standard otherwise 2,000 a day limit at 3 meals a day (minus snacks) puts it at about half a meals worse of calories. Add yogurt instead of milk to make it mor filling if you want

Chocolate and maple syrup is delicious yes, but not a healthy breakfast. Especially not paired with a banana and oats. This is a straight up calorie nuke. There are far better alternatives. Just mix a banana and 2 eggs with a teaspoon full of oats and you're all set.
