There is a reason Deontay's big shots all missed Ted. It is called boxing. Wilder has had a great career for a man who can't box, but his management made a terrible error when they decided to add the scalp of the long inactive Fury to Deontay's CV to strengthen their hand in the AJ unification talks. Those Fury fights, and now this Parker one, confirm for me that Deontay may have been better off taking that 100m for the two fight AJ deal. Sure, he may have taken the 40% side but that 40% would dwarf what he got for getting pounded by Fury then outfoxed by Parker. Retirement calls.

The 2 fight AJ deal would've been derailed by an obese man KOing Joshua. AJ's head doesn't move and is far too big for Wilder to have missed that badly. Wilder 100% beats AJ a few years ago.

Wilder has been shown to be the biggest manufactured Heavyweight of all time. He's only fought two legitimate top ten fighters in his career. He lost every fight (even the draw) and lost almost every round in those four fights. As soon as Wilder got put on the back foot in Rd 11 in Fury's first fight, the blueprint was there for all to see.

    • @MrDoolan72
      @MrDoolan72 Před 5 měsíci +33

@@randymarsh2901I think it's bang on about Wilder. His best opponent other than the two I mentioned was King Kong Ortiz. A geriatric who got dropped more times in one fight by Charles Martin than he did with his fights against Wilder. Wilders power was a myth. A fairytale. Every fighter he'd faced had been dropped before and most were coming off long lay offs. He only fought Fury because he'd lost 9 stone and hadn't fought for 18 months. Eric Molina and Ortiz both ate Wilders right hand. Took it flush many times before dropping. And they only dropped when tired. AJ has the best resume in the HW division (fact). So I don't think we can call AJ a fraud. It's not the same thing. His resume is littered with top ten opponents. Wilder has two. Of which he never beat.. Fury is also a bit overrated. The Trilogy and Fury's mouth made them both look better than they were...Fury talks a great game but hes very selective about his opponents. He played tap with Klitschko and nicked a victory. Got done for PEDs and didn't go through with the rematch. Because Vlad would have changed his game plan for the second fight. AJ knocked out a very well trained Klitschko. AJ knocked out Wallin and Fury went the distance and could have got stopped for the cut. Fury picked Dillian Whyte only after he'd twice been dropped with uppercuts and his punch resistance had gone. Whyte was chasing Fury for ages before then. AJ wanted Wilder for years. Wilder turned down stupid money to avoid AJ from Dazn.
Wilder is a manufactured myth. Not the first HW to be so, but certainly the biggest hype job I've ever seen. And I've been watching since the 70's.

    both of them being unbeatable
    having never fought high quality
    opposition consistently
Remember, Wilder and Fury are one
and the same. After they fought
each other, it was said they were

He never uswd to give up the cemtre of the ring.

Wilder used to be the Boogie man. His fights were entertaining and violent. I always hoped he would get better fundamentally but he didn’t . I always rooted for him simply because he was an American heavyweight champ and it was nice to have hope with that right hand to bring all the belts to the USA someday. I think he genuinely wanted the toughest challenges he could find. He definitely has heart. AJ on the other hand has all the fundamentals and I feel it was his heart that was always in question. All that being said , I knew Wilder wasn’t going to do well in this fight. Joseph Parker is a world class boxer and a cerebral fighter with great coaches . I personally found it sad to see Wilder loose by such a wide margin but he needed that.

@@babyting395boxing fans say that for a reason and there is some truth. Take how wilder in his 2nd fight with fury was getting ugly bashed and complained about getting pulled early. In his third fight he similarly got smoked, but he went out on his shield. Many legendary boxers, Ali, Frazier, Ryle, shavers, foreman went through tooth and nail wars and Joshua simply doesn’t have that kind of dog in him.
Contrast that with His first fight against usyk where he backed off instead of fighting bigger.
He also went down multiple times to Ruiz who isn’t a power puncher.
Another way of saying it is he simply isn’t perfect and has his deficiencies, something that hardcore Joshua fans won’t admit.
That’s not to say he isn’t a fantastic boxer, which he obviously is and boxing certainly is better off for having him. His criticism is a fact of fans comparing his stature to the greats and people are going to point out where he falls short by comparison.

When did he have all those things?. Never. He just looked good against low quality opposition. Parker and Fury are top ten fighters. Wilder hardly won a round in four fights.
That's Wilders reality. He's a very poor boxer who was made to look good, so Finkel and Sulaiman could con the American public. America has been crying out for a HW for decades.
Truth is, American big guys all go into other sports. It's an easier way for them to make a living and there's a lot more opportunities. How many players in an American football team? Or basketball team?. Whereas boxing is a brutal sport and it's also a very lonely sport. It's literally you against the rest. If you have a bad night it's over. If you have a bad night playing basketball or American Football, you get subbed off and try again next time.
America has great fighters in the lower weights. But the best athletes who are big guys, all play other sports.
