Ben reminds me so much of Uncle Iroh. He's relaxed, has an incredible laugh, and an absolutely infectious smile. Like Ben just looks like a guy you'd absolutely want to sit down and hang out with. Ben, also like Uncle Iroh, at the end of the day is still a freaking DRAGON. Mess with the dragon, die in flames. Amazing win, Ben.
I liked how Shea instinctively looked at CGB, even though CGB was already dead after casting her spell to see if CGB was going to counter it. 🤣🤣

Truthfully, I was rooting for Ben the whole time!! Miirym was one of my favorite cards out of Baldurs Gate and I bought 4 boxes and only pulled a single copy!! As soon as I saw the card I wanted to build my own commander version and so in honor of Ben and his win, I must finish my own build and who knows, maybe warstorm surge may find it's way in! 😅

Ben playing a counter spell to ensure CGB died was just astonishing. Then Ben goes for the win seemingly out of nowhere! One of the most explosive and best endings
It is really amazing that for more than 90% of the game Ben went most of the game completely unnoticed while he was doing some set up and then it was a huge payoff to win. I am really amazed that the pay-off from those enchantments really took the game in that way.
Ben coming strong back into WPC and owns the show, indirectly defeating CGB and taking the aggro to Blake for the finisher! Completely unexpected and cool win, congrats, loved the episode

Congrats Ben! My husband made a Myyrim deck. It looked like it would be slow, but it devastated my sliver army lol. You winning plus CGB hamster to the face made this game amazing.

Boy oh boy, Ben! That was SICK! Myrrim was a lot better than expected, and I love how you just slammed Dragon Tempest and everyone was just like “this is fine” that was great!
Omg i love that she had the bloodchief mindcrank combo. The first infinite combo i found out about on my own through deck building, it kind of has a special place in my heart.
After watching an earlier episode of Worst Possible Commander, I decided to try out Warstorm Surge in a deck and I love it every time I get to cast it! Keep putting it in all your decks Ben, it’s now your calling card!

Holy crap! That was a crazy game! A complete beat down from every angle, robbery, treachery, friendship and violence. And in the end the mighty Dragons prevail and Ben did the thing! (and squashed a hamster)

Sometimes being the underdog isn't to bad, as people feel bad focusing you (Blake swinging only 2 damage at Ben when he had a lot more potential damage "because he isn't doing anything"). That is why I love decks that fly under the radar setting up for a big turn!

My scumbag strategy is moaning and being generally salty about my draws and how I have nothing to play and how I get my stuff countered and removed....up until they leave me alone and start going for each others throats. Then I try to win when they run out of juice like the trash I am.

Mirrym is such a great versatile timmy commander. It lets you sprinkle in some counter magic to protect yourself without feeling like you are losing focus on your strategy the way that it would if you were playing Ur-Dragon.

As a newer Magic player, I'm so excited to see an affordable/solid Dragon commander! It's fair/slower, yet super powerful when it goes off.
Btw I've been watching a lot of your eps lately; love the combo of powerful cards and total jank in everyone's decks! 🤣 Super fun to watch (I'm a total budget player, so love seeing that balance)

As a Miirym player, my advice to Ben is : play more dragons ! since it's a tribal deck, you probably want to aim at 24-25 dragon creatures, so you really can benefit from your commander's effect every turn.
Also, Shared animosity isn't that great of a card in a dragons deck, since it takes time before you can really go wide. I'd rather replace it with a cheap dragon (Swashbucker Extraordinaire for example, great card).
As a Chatterfang stan, it was a joy to watch the intense showdown between long-running rivals: hamsters vs. dragons

Haven’t watched more than the intro just yet, but a 2v2 commander game sometime could be really cool!
