The elminster commander could have kept using Elminster's ability to create faerie dragons and just swamped the field with tokens.
Respect the scoop so you don’t just sad lock the table.
At the end, not sure it matters, but if Spark Double was coming at the same time as Terror of the Peaks it wouldn’t be able to choose it to clone into.
if someone is playing a background as a secondary commander, you should definitely announce that card as well before the game start. That was very confusing.

N'gaththrod can only pull out creatures that were milled the same turn. So he could not have gotten Atarka.

Thanks! And yeah I agree, but I have no idea how to improve the audio for four person games.
I'm pretty sure with Rise of the Dark Realms, they all enter at the same time. So Terror will still see everything else that entered that turn. Also, since they are all entering, Spark Double can't copy Terror of the Peaks - pretty sure this happens before it hits the battlefield or else it dies to it being a 0/0.
Each time Miirym was targeted the ability should have been countered unless the player targeting it payed 2 extra mana, due to the Ward 2 that Miirym has.
Yeah, Eddie remembered it later in the game. I believe every time Miirym was targeted the mana was always open to do so, had we remembered, so not a huge deal here luckily.

Someone forgot the ward 2 on the dragon . Not that it really mattered, y’all did catch it half way through. Also thought vessel tapping for blue? To cast swan song??Are y’all making up your own rules here? Lol
miirym has ward 2 and maybe I missed it but I don't think Jason payed the 2 cost.
It was so frustrating seeing the mill affect stayed on the table that long obvious that it need to be removed no one cared lol I was like smh

Damn that was a pain to watch. I am glad Elminster got to do it's thing, which is why it'll be targeted hard on the first game I'll play against it-unlike this game. Sad that Mirrym didn't get to stick around much but it was played over and over right before board clears etc.. Not here for unsolicited advice or anything, but I feel like the rest of the board could have benefited more from not allowing Elminster to control the board that much. I guess N'Ghathrod enojyed stuff being cast and then milled for the RotDR, but still, it was too close with the Approach... Interesting match up and calls nevertheless, appreciating the channel regardless though!
To be fair I'm not sure if they had too many chances to deal with Elminster, at least early game, they would have hit him for sure if they were able to keep any creatures on the board ;) Thanks for watching!
@@TheDankestDungeon Right, yeah that could have been it. Even though it wasn't directly controlling like some of the Teferi's do, it was providing great card selection and mana reduction for extra turn spells. I guess some of the earlier combat or direct damage that was being dealt could have distributed more maybe? Oh well!
So no one is gonna mention that jason shouldve won from casting approach a second time? Its a cast trigger. Countering it doesn't stifle the effect.
only for the first casting of appraoch. if the second one gets countered nothing happens. it checks to see if youve cast it before but it has to resolve to check for it
i kept wondering why does this guy play a background commander without a background. also why does it has white? he has a background? where? in his deck box? but why? and in the intro he made a lorax joke, did he not show the background for the lorax joke? I dont know why this bothers me so much, but it just does.

Why didn't Elminster win after the second cast of Second Sun? The fact it was countered wouldn't stop it since it says "cast" and not "resolved".
becasue the spell has to resolve for any of the text to matter. if approach gets countered then none of the text happens
