gotta say, adore the pressure you put on the ethics of things. Its nice when that's a priority to talk about.
It’s nice she talks about it but at the same time she still buys a lot of unethically made items and over-consumes a lot so kind of hypocritical tbh 🤔
It was great when she bought from these shady stores to expose them... but now she is just buying sweatshop fast fashion for fun and that doesn't sit that well with me tbh. If she thinks they are unethical, shouldn't she stop supporting them?
i agree with the others but i am honestly happy a big youtube is even consistently talking about this. i've been buying ethically for years, and it does honestly get exhausting to check carefully every single time and miss out on items that aren't ethical, so yes, i have bought a few unethical items. i think it's good to remember that perfection is an ideal and that not being perfect doesn't make someone a hypocrite
I agree, she has the audience now so she doesn't have to rely on these algorithm feeding Temu and Shein and FashinNova videos anymore. She could start buying ethical brands and reviewing those so we know which brands are worth it or not! Maybe videos about recycling and repurposing current clothes she has to make new clothes. The overconsumption just for videos makes me sad, considering how much she virtue signals about "sustainability" and "ethically made"

I miss your sewing/ diying/ home or van renovation videos!! I mostly love watching your videos for your humor and personality and that's why I watch most videos but I am not really into your reviews of new products or popular (mostly unethical brands) because I think it kind of contributes to the trend and the overall waste
I’m moving into my first place as a homeowner next week, and I just wanted to say, your renovation and decoration videos over the years have made me so excited to make this place my own! For example, we are painting the hallway with chalkboard paint so that our daughter is *encouraged* to draw on the walls, safely! There is also a big square utility closet door that is a few feet off the ground, and I’m going to divide it in 4 and paint it like a pop art painting :) I’m sooo excited!!
Video idea: TikTok/Instagram picks my sewing projects. You go onto the apps, and the first clothing products it suggests, you have to make an outfit out of, and by make, I mean MAKE. Instead of buying these fast fashion, drop-shipped styles, see if you can recreate them

I agree, I think if you had gotten a black or dark brown of the one piece, it would’ve looked better. I think in general, for pieces like that, it’s more flattering wearing darker colors than lighter. The light blue is very flattering on you but as an entire outfit it reminded me of the green one pieces they wear for green screens. It would be so fun to see you transform that piece into a crop top and maybe leggings. I can definitely see a cute crop top that could be dressed up or down. 🙂
