I totally understand why Gaijin is releasing all these premiums and squad vehicles, but it’s getting to the point where it’s really starting to damage the game in top tier. It’s making 10.7 just not enjoyable for those who grinded a lineup because either your entire team melts in .2 seconds and you are overwhelmed, or your team melts the enemy in .2 seconds and you get little to no meaningful gameplay.
So basically how 9.0-10.0 range got ruined by the 1st wave of rank6 premium .
This is the second wave. Nothing new than.
Rather than Russia being the only one suffering from turms and dumb players , now everyone is just as dumb. Ironically it is now more balanced .
At least I have a better time playing my Russia 9.7 murdering new leo2 and chally players.

Wow. Imagine people seeing all the modern vehicles in WT, then not being able to play them for months or years. Of course they're letting top tier be bottom tier like they should've have done at the beginning.
10.0? Lower to the 9.0 range, it's just not fun to play anymore. On ground it's the "One Death Leaver" and on Air RB are shitters who have no idea how Jet Air RB works + Prems with clearly overpowered missiles for it's BR. (Ex: A-10 w/ AIM-9L's and infinite countermeasures at 9.7) The new Italian prem which is just a Sagittario with NO MISSILES sits at 9.3.
@@theus663 air RB isn’t as toxic, however there is a balance issue up there for many vehicles. Personally I don’t really touch jets, I find the game play to be boring, specially now with F14 dumb fire missiles.

Also now we need a Russian 10.7 squadron tank because now Russia is the only one of the main 3 that wont have a 1 death leaver problem at 11.0 so now their win rate is going to go up even more

They got the bmp-2m, and I promise even at 9.3 it handles 11.0 with ease. There's the Russian bias, a tank as good as top tier almost 2 tiers lower.

@@Brandon-qc3eu Mmm, ka-50 and su-22 are also premium and squad vehicles. Take that with a bmp and you not only have a ridiculously strong lineup, you're spread 9.3 to 11.0. Obviously you wouldn't get downtiered further than 1 tier from your top vehicle but I have both, aswell as the turms and the pt-76 premium, and they ALL succeed in top tier. My point is their vehicles are ridiculously overpowered, I play America mainly, just got my f4j, and I've researched the whole helicopter and ground tree.
I like the top tier squadron vehicles. It allows players who come to the game trying to play the top tier tanks and planes while getting a small taste of the grind process.
With the amount of time you have to put in to get 540k points you'll probably be pretty close to top tier anyways. If you don't personally earn squad points at all then you get no research points from the 3 day period and if you earn less than the average in your squad you get a reduced amount. You have to be playing a lot and be in an active squad to get the vehicle in the minimum time of 81 days. You get 1 squadron point for every 200 research points you earn in game, in a 3 day period to max out the 360 squadron points you would need to be getting 24,000 RP every day or 72,000 RP every 3 days, for a minimum of 3 months straight totaling to 1,944,000 RP. In that amount of time and with that amount of RP I would be surprised if you didnt have the 10.0 M1A1 abrams or were at least in rank 6 very close to having it. Of course you can be another nation with better low level tanks than USA and have fun getting to high tier and get an abrams but then you're the guy with one tank spawning, dying, then leaving.
while its cool seeing an Australian MBT in the game, its tragic to see it relegated to noob bait, would be cool to see gaijin remove some of the grind so at the very least new players will have a line up. and yes, there is an argument to be made that the grind too top tier is meant to teach new players the mechanics of the game, however the disparity between tiers negates this as the style of gameplay from 9.0-10.0 is alien let alone 6.7-7.7.
Yeah seems like that for top tier in anything. Just completely different mechanics for everything. Low ARB is climb and dive, top tier is hug the ground for dear fucking life! Lol. GRB switches to become angled bush, to you fucking even breath wrong and you'll cope one to the face.
no offense but the argument that the "grind is to teach new players the game" more so results in new players just leaving the game. grinding takes too long and unless people like the lower tier tanks, they dont stay. plus with the domination of air why bother playing tanks anyway.
We just need M1A2 Sepv3 in game, the AIM is just a slap to every abrams lover out there
My first game on this update and I had 3 people in the AIM with 2 being below level 30 with that and XM-1s as a lineup

Tbh I'd rather just have seen the AIM foldered with the HC since it's somewhat on par with it, trading a little bit of firepower, the dazzler, and dozer blade, for much better thermals, which is a good trade IMO. I wouldn't have been opposed to it being between the M1A1HC and M1A2 either, but as a squadron vehicle, I just can't agree with it as it ruins not only American top tier, but the top tier of every nation that plays with America. Of course not all M1A1AIM players are inexperienced, but as the one-death leaving in this video shows, many of them are and do not even bring backups. The M60-2000 would've been a great "replacement" so to speak, and would still let new players have a bit of a taste of the Abrams while not ruining top tier as much, probably being closer to 10.0 or 10.3.
@@verstappen9937 They can't make the AIM 11.0 without making the community angry, and those things can be useful at times. The dozer can literally deflect rounds because of the awkward angles. It could be at 11.0 but Gaijin couldn't do it without making a lot of people mad, and the M1A2 is somewhat better except for night battles.
This is destroying top tier, it really impacts all minor nations as not only do they already suffer from not having the best or most flushed out lineups. But now they need to deal with these players who see these premium and squad vehicles that are easily available for purchase, get them with no understanding of the game, or just don’t have anything to support the vehicles they buy.

USA logic: put gen 3 thermals on an M1A1 HC and ship it to other countries.
At home: put gen 1 thermals in M1A2 (we don't need better thermals, we have freedom)
ask per usual some people don't understand history, the M1A2 is fucking bare, look at the commander MG on the AIM it's the same as the M1A2 indicating that it was a base M1A2 body, Australia just put more advanced thermals onto it and removed DU, the SEPV1 has gen 2 DU in hull and increased armor in general, they didn't ship a HC they shipped bare M1A2's

We...used the AIM too. US army/National Guard units used them for a while. At around this same time the M1a1 FEP rolled out for the US Marines

I’m happy that they added it but it should’ve been added AFTER we get M1A2 sepV1. Current M1A2 that we have in game is a baseline M1A2 from 1992 while Australian M1A1 AIM is from 2006 and was based off 1999’s M1A2 sepV1 which had improvements to its armor (higher turret protection and DU inserts in hull front) to its FCS (gen2 thermals for gunner and commander) and many more that aren’t modelled in WT. anyway the point is that then M1A1 AIM would be somewhat worse that M1A2sepv1 so any US-main wouldn’t be feeling how Justin feels right now.
PS. And yes that Australian M1A1 AIM had its armor improved but without the use of DU. Why do you think it weights more than M1A2 in game? :)

That, combined with watching my grind slide further and further towards being completely impossible without losing my mind, while some people just get all the vehicles for free, or buy them and then buy all the mods.

the grind not that hard if u get a lot of kill every game, i got leclerc in just like 3-4 months while also play another nation and not being premium player…
I kind of understand you feeling that way about insane grind, but to a lot of people, time is money and hundreds of hours of gameplay for a grind that can be skipped with $60 is not worth it. Therefore it's very easy for a lot of people to justify why they'd skip it with a credit card instead of play squadron for hours on end.

Since this does not get a commander sight with thermals, you can just change to the 12.7 which has a thermal sight and use that as a commander sight!

I want to love this game again, but with the hell that is top tier I had to stop playing a couple years ago for my own health. I still like to watch warthunder content from time to time to see whats the biggest fiasco though. You never seem to disappoint with the gameplay keep it up!
A funny little detail about the AIM is that they left the service shield on it despite the fact this is only put on while the tank is in the workshop to redirect the exhaust upwards.
Releasing the premium after the update went live is better than allowing people to pre order.

australian army still uses the M1A1 to this day we just upgrade everything in it and use stealth to our advantage

Ill be honest, I am one of those one death leavers. Mainly though because of the damn repair costs. I would absolutely love to slug it out to the last man but oh boy each match I have to worry about weather I can repair the tanks Iv got and so that is the only damn way to make profit and still have fun. For reference I am a 100% free to play, haven't spent a single penny on the game. Gladly fix repair costs and I will slug it out to the last man with you.
This is also why im trying to grind up russia rn.

the thing about the premium aircraft isn't really a problem for me, since the lightning isn't really that good and requires an experienced pilot to do well in then not many wallet warriors will fuck up the games, same thing with the mirage since it only gets aim9b's so I don't think they're going to be that big of a problem, maybe a week or two and everyone stops playing them

most of the yay is probably the unironic fact that gaijin gave us a freebrams after the community asked for it for a long time.
Also probably why people dreaded the 2Pl was because of the reputation of the 2A5 during the time. 2A5 had the tankiest turret.
Gaijin should put Rank lock on Premium and Squad Vejicles. to prevent One death leaver.
one death leavers are caused by bad economy and shitty map design, gajin needs to fix their terrible game design and you wont see people leaving after one death

US have full lineup, the amazing jet, best starter heli and amazing free one, now one of best abrams..
US is still pretty underpowered, they have a lot of “nerfed” features in their tanks, example: thermals. Plus they are missing their more recent M1A2s

As a German & Russian main trying out the m1a1 which almost feels like a m1a2 was a great opportunity to try out the american mbt playstyle its definitely one of my best purchases compared to the A-10 or XM-1 it is just so powerful and its encouraging me to grind out the TT vehicles aswell. The only thing is dont like about the AIM is that its missing its side skirt ERA addon armor, unlike the other ones this one was actually equipped with TUSK-I ERA. Another abrams thing is the extremely long reload even aced is 6 seconds, as far as i know you the loade accomplishes the tanker school min. 5 seconds for each round and thats not even top i think the best loader in the abrams had something around 3~ish seconds.
Since when did the M1A1 AIMv.2 (Basically the model we have in game) actually have the TUSK armor package? And why would it have the TUSK package, the kit was reserved for use in urban environment and as such it was attached when need be because it was just more weight in normal operational use.
Its so annoying that the Abrams breach dosent stop spall to the other side of the turret like the t series end leos,when u think about us not that good at surving

I have that same problem with downtiers. A lot of the times i just get 1 tapped twice and i'm done for that game. My best matches are the uptiers. It's really weird. Maybe a mental thing like, i'm top tier so i'm going to tank shots or something. Don't know xD

Question for everyone in the comment, is Fuel Explosion on Rus and China vehicle realistic? Or its only for balancing purposes?, Cause other nation didnt get that feature even in the video we saw abrams fuel got hit and not explode
Its pretty much luck honestly. Ive been one tapped by a puma in a leclerc once. All he hit was my fuel tank and i got yeeted.
bit of both, Nato tanks tend to use less explosive fuel, diesel in some cases, also russian win rates are through the roof and the chinese aint far off.

I hope US gets a premium 10.0 Abrams tank soon since Germany got one, we dont have a good premium we can use at top tier like USSR and Germany. The XM-1 artificially sucks and its not very good compared to the TURMS with its reliable gun and armor and good speed. All the XM-1 has is speed.
Xm1 is beyond horrid now. It need the M774 and needs to go to 9.0

Imma just be playing the new Japanese M36. Kinda sucks though, as I just found a nice skin for my Type 10, but top tier is an absolute mess rn. I was also in the middle of grinding the F4-EJ, but I guess that’ll be put on hold as well.
I would not suggest a full ammo load on an Abrams but ~20 rounds. It’s possible for rounds bouncing into the turret ring to go right into the ammo on your gunner side. And since that’s the more common side to be hit… not a good idea
He knows but even then its trivial. What's more important is getting rid of the Hull ammo near the engine that even with its blow up panels can get you killed quite often.
carry 24 dart and 6 mpat, should be enough for most maps and engagements with any 120mm abrams variant. for variants like the ipm1, 25 dart + 10 hesh/heat is the go to in my experience.

Yeah just unlocked this. Wow that heat shell @ 11.3 is over the top pointless even against lights. Why give heat as a stock shell @ 11.3. That just goes to show gaijin has absolutely no clue. I thought gaijin could not prove how incredibly incompetent they are but they proved me wrong! Plus it pretty cheap that squad vehicles don’t have a premium rewards considering the grind to get them.

Of course you can be that conservative and undermine peoples ideas by saying it's just a "game". It's still a hobby like any other. I hate people who try to stop people from giving feedback because "it's not worth it" or "that's just stupid" let people do what they want there's no real goal in life so maybe just let people do what they want for example trying to make Gaijin improve it's game for the thousand time.

Or even just playing until rank 4 and then buying a m1a1 aim. I bought a tam 2IP but i had a leopard 1 so I still had a second tank to play when my premium was destroyed. But I don't think we can come to the same conclusion about a games value. Everyone gives a different value to each game or thing they own.
