Honestly, there is a difference between constructive criticism and complaining, and I have seen both. Like one VA constantly gets called I as their poor mic makes their audio bad, or a VA on another channel that whispers (even when yelling).
Where I see this as a positive is that the comments are constructive enough to help guide the VA into improving their craft. And given how many VAs start their careers without proper training, it offers a way to make up the difference (I have experience with acting classes).
But you are right that comments like "get a better VA" does offer little to the channel
