Speed Run with Arrma Kraton 6s V5 stock out the box

- Speed run with my Arrma Kraton 6s V5. Stock out of the box it comes with a 12t pinion gear. Running 2 3s lipos spektrum 5000mAh 50c batteries. I did a run with all three of the speed percentages that come on the controller (50, 75, 100%).

I love my kraton 6s v5. I got 55 mph out of the box with mine with maxamps 6s 150c lipo battery. Then after I balanced the tires and turned up the punch to 9 I got 59.1 mph. All while running the 12 tooth pinion.
Sick! I play on getting some new batteries and doing this again.
How did you balance the tires ? Same as real cars , little weights ?

Heck’s yeah dude . I get a 6s battery tomorrow and 4s was pretty sweet today . Felt like 35 full throttle out of the box and good enough . No wheelies on a 4s 5200 100c zeee but good power still for sliding sideways in dirt . I think the grass made the engine hot so I ordered a heat sink with tall fins . If it needs a fan , I ll deal with the mini drone noise I guess .

Its better to measure the speed at 100% set, at first when the batteries are fresh charged.
Yeah, he should've done the runs in reverse order, 100% first, then 75, then 50.

I got a jlb j3speed on 17t pinion 3200kv motor on 3s I ran 52 on 4s I ran 65 113mmx42mm badland tires 60c 3300mah youme power lipo no tire balance and I add fast Eddy wheel bearings
I know nothin about these cars. But when I watched the video of this truck in the leaves/field, I had a speed estimate in my mind of "bodda hunnit". Obviously, I was off by a lot, hahaha.

This is it. Had the typhon 6s v5 but when going to the track, the monster trucks land a lot better

Nice video! I hit 53mph with mine, stock. I did set the toe straight and put the speedometer on the bed of the truck, off the wing...maybe that would get you to 53? Wind and any slight bit of hill could do it too. Nice job!
Yeah I didn't make any adjustments on it at all. But maybe when I put the speed gear in and do another speed run I will mount the speedometer to the bed of the truck. Thank you for watching!

Not sure if you change your gps by now but if you want a fast better one try the XOSS gps it was cheaper and it's has a fast reading same as flysky only 29 dollars it's a cheap good gps Amazon . I just picked up kraton can't wait to send it
Yeah I did change gps already. I got a skyrc one, but Ill keep that in mind if I break this one
Call me the human speedometer... I guessed every speed within 1.5mph. First run on 100% I guessed exact 49.9.

@@jaguar2164 If you are asking which one is best, I think depends on what you are going to be doing and like. They are both great but if you want to do more stunts go with the notorious. It you want some stunt capability with more stability, go with the kraton

I’m buying the EXB DO U HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE REARS?shims missing/clearance?
I have heard about those issues with the EXB but I heard they were fixed now. I got the RTR so no issues there. I have had issues with my center diff. Had to replace that.
I got my kraton exb last Christmas. I ran it right out of the box. Never an issue until now. I haven't broken anything vital until now.

What was wrong with the center of DIf?Clearance issue?
Leaked really bad from day one. When it spun, the diff fluid when everywhere and I didnt realize it until too late. It destroyed itself along with the brackets it sits in. I took pictures and sent it to Arrma and they replaced it. But I ended up buying a limited slip diff anyway and Ill never go back lol. Never had that issue
Just got my Kraton earlier this week and I keep losing signal around 50 yards I’d say. Sometimes have to walk completely up to the vehicle to get it going again
I have heard of others having that problem but personally haven't

The plug is wrong for it but you can run a 4s battery on this car if you want to. You can not run it on 2 4s batteries though

I ordered the notorious first. Then got the Kraton.
Kraton is better for going straight and doing jumps and shit.
Notorious is mainly a stunt truck. Not good for speed runs or anything.
