Great speed runs! I actually just bought the Kraton 6s, Typhon 6s and the Vorteks. I am really impressed with Arrma RCs.
I have typhoon 6s and Vorteks 3s. Thinking about getting the Kraton 6s as well. The Vorteks is fun for bashing around and I made the typhoon a street car with the limitless wheels and tires and 20 tooth pinion.

You just need some new tires on that typhon lol. 👍👍I have the 6s Notorious and it is a bad arse basher on just 4s, I also have two 3s and I have used it a hand full of times but it becomes a different Truggy with it at 6s. It is a little to much for me that is. So I usually run it at 4s. plenty of power for where I can run it.
I also have the La trax Teton fully hopped up with new motor and ESC. It is a little mad man. I love it. I wanted another so I just ordered the 6s Typhon 5V. Looking forward to messing with it. I would love a Felony but I haven't found a place where I live that I could run it so what's the use of getting it right? Again, cool vid!
You’re right about the Felony, would be a blast. I’m just taking the Typhon tires to the very end lol before I get new ones. Appreciate you commenting and watching 👍🏼

Hi, it seems strange to me the kraton stock (12t pinion) should reach more or less 54mph. Now i have fitted in my kraton V5 (forma Spektrum) 14 t pinion but for the moment I didn't take it to full speed
Would the Typhoon be quicker on good tyres?
That typhon really needed a pit stop for some fresh tires sir. It’s dangerous driving under those conditions.

I was intent on a Kraton for my first Arrma basher but settled on the Typhon instead, the camera doesn't do it justice just how fast these are, you won't be jumping the Typhon much on 6s unless you have access to a motocross track, the bmx track is no challenge, even the biggest jumps get cleared easy using half throttle on 4s. Grab a Super Basher Bumper (and the hardware bought separately) and an Arrma HD wing mount, it will 100% more tougher now.
They are both crazy fast indeed, appreciate you tuning in

With your speed runs..Try standing half way down the track. You will have way better visual and control.
Both are capable of faster. I am hitting 70 mph with the Talion exb using a 21 tooth pinion. The speed pinion is a 23 tooth. I know the Typhoon is faster though. You may just had to quickly adjust the end points and jack the punch up to 9 and then that thing is hitting 75 mph for sure. I love the Typhoon and very soon will be going to the Hobby shop and trading it for either the Typhoon BLX orTLR RTR. The Raptor R was a mistake to have bought. That 3s Velenium is cogging and surging machine. Once you drive 4s, 6s and 8s, 3s is a massive disappointment.
I'm pretty sure punch has nothing to do with your top end speed..its just how strong your initial take off power is....😅
@am12eaz93 On some of the shorter distance roads that before I adjusted the punch, I was unable to achieve 70 mph, on those same roads I now can. Don't need as much runway so from that perspective it has made a difference. In addition to setting the throttle end points and also using two powerful PowerHobby 9K MAH 100c batteries. Definitely these give a few more mph than my Sprktrum 6s 5K MAH batteries and single 6s Lectron Pro battery.
