The Shadow Society Collection Event launches March 26th, and there will be 36 limited-time event skins and cosmetics that you can unlock.
The NEW "Cobalt Katar" Universal Heirloom will be releasing, along with a new Box Skin known as the "Tax Collector".
The Cobalt Katar Heirloom is Apex's first Artifact that will be releasing in Season 20 of Apex Legends.
A brand NEW LTM known as Lockdown will be releasing, which will feature 4 player Squads where you need to Capture Zones!
Legendary skins for Revenant, Ballistic, Horizon, Bloodhound, Mad Maggie, Lifeline, the G7, Volt, EVA 8, CAR, R-301, Flatline, and 30-30 Repeater will release in the Shadow Society Collection Event.
The Cobalt Katar Universal Heirloom can be equipped by any Legend, and it will be customizable at a later date, according to Kral.

unless they make is so that there's challanges that never go away that allow you to unlock these "artifact shards" its a massive L, if they do give you challanges that you can complete for "artifact shards" it would be a lot better but maybe not a W
This only affects the whales. I'm a ftp player so I could honestly care less. Spend $10 once for battle pass and max out every season and I'm good. I'll get and heirloom for my main one day

You could never use Heirloom shards for universal mythic skins, since they are not heirlooms. It wont decrease their price, heirlooms and universals will just be seperate. Wont change much.

Ross, I’m thinking about getting the 100 pack bundle that is in the store right now but do you think that will help towards getting the new universal heirloom? Or should I wait and spend the money on the event skins or whatever bundle comes out with it? Idk how it will work but the 100 pack bundle goes away tomorrow and I want to try to get it as cheap as possible
no way they arent dropping heirlooms for certain legends
If anything it means heirloom shards are MORE valuable because you will not be getting any more so if people have them that means they have the choice of any legend specific heirloom making them more rare and therefore more valuable.
