Seriously, name one other person that can use Contaminate and Transfusion to win a big tournament like IEM. Name one other person who can push Queen/Lurker and win. Reynor outsmarted Zest the whole way through, and that's why he won, not because Zerg is IMBA.

Honestly I wouldn't go by that particular game in terms of saying Zerg is stronger. I mean Zest didn't really play all that well. Going against a maxed zerg army with a predominantly gateway army just isn't going to end well. I didn't see him build a single colossus or disruptor. The game when he actually used carriers, he won.
The third game clearly shows why you should do a regular insight into the enemy base and that buildings alone will not provide you with defense against the enemy army. You create buildings, army, upgrades and security at the same time, or you die trying to leave any of these things for later.
serral seems to have lost his mojo recently, seems like the energy is different now. It's sad to see serral like this :'( but it's also nice to see up and coming talents shine, hopefully Clem can be a force in the future too

Also youve already trained your muscle memory to use a single monitor by switching between control groups so if you were in a situation where you normally used two and you had to play with one like in a tournament, then you would be super at a disadvantage. So i dont think its a thing.

best race: it's overcompensation. Logically nwbtoss would be the best, and some critters would be just fun to shoot. A handgun would wreck the entire swarm. So they make flappy wings faster than jet propulsion. If zerg were EVER worse, it would collapse because then the whole game would be real and logical. So expect it to be the dominate race forever.
I remember the very first time i played starcraft, it starts with the Terran campaign. the very first time i saw a zerg creep, i was like "WTF IS THAT??!" exactly the same sentiment as Raynor and his marines at that campaign.
See now why literally a tons of SC2 fans are giving up of this game. They're keep coming back and play SC1. And I did the same thing. You have no this huge gap in developing a base and producing units in SC1 which is way better balanced. In SC2, most of online players are saying that Zergs are almost unstopable because of much faster unit production, and that many of Zerg players are taking this advantage to quickly produce as much as possible units for offence, and that you need to have a lot of lucky to be able to somehow manage the victory against Zergs. And even Terran fans are talking more or less the same thing on lot of forums across the net about this game issue. They're usualy saying that their best diffence and contra attack against Zerg are in a quick produce of battleships and as much as possible marines followed by medics. Protoss are pretty much strong but they need some time to develop the required buildings to be able to form a units for offence. Terrans also have more or less the same problem, but only Zergs are able to procude units for attack in just a 3-4 minutes of play. In the begining of playing SC2 I wasn't ready to accept this fact because I was amazed by graphics of my favourite SF strategy game and I really enjoyed in playing online, but after some time I start realising the truth more and more, so I do a lot of chats with SC fans from all around the world on many sites and forums, and most of them told me that their strategy against Zerg players are in choosing Terrans and pushing hard to quicky produce as much as they can more battleships and a lot of marines with medic team to be able to defend themselves from waves of Zerg units and do some contra attack. So, in this tournament, how could possibly Protoss be able to win a savage playing style of Zergs? Maybe by wasting time and resources of producing Archons? I'm not so sure. I would try to play like Terran fans play and produce a lot of ground units with Zaelots, get a Stargate building and all rest of resources spend to produce Carriers. I see no other options how to be in a position to defent your base in just 3-5 min's of game because Zerg waves is already on a way to your base.

I don't know what happened to Zest in game 3. He has money and can probe up the 3rd for so long. When dt's fail there was no real transition.
