I've said this before, but I think Dark would be a scary poker player to go up against. Not only because he'd be difficult to read, but because there's a non-zero chance he'd actually bring a gun.

End of game 1 is such peak Dark
EL dorado benefits nydus, flying cc, trasnports etc. The locked in design offers interesting strats to mine gold right away.. with little of anyhting anyone can do.. so in an early rush you could natural there as terran, and ahvea protected eocnomy somewhat unti lteh walls fall down.
Still surprised at game 2 Dark didn't went full Swarm Host. Seems like a perfect map to abuse them, and Dark loves swarm hosts :D

Banter should be allowed in big tournaments, mind games like those are a proper strategy
Whilst mind games can be very entertaining, it's a nasty idea to leave it in big tournaments as it requires additonal moderation to ensure people aren't being deliberately nasty, bringing up sensitive topics for the other person just to throw them off there game (esspecially if someone close to the other person had recently died, for example), and getting a match resukt disregarded or even a player kicked out for saying something out of line just isn't fun. And sure, pro gamers are usually quite nice, esspecially towards other pros, salt is rare and getting deliberately nasty towards another pro is unheard of, but if trash talking is allowed in big tournaments with multiple thousands on the line, it could happen. Even if the pro knows they are getting thrown out for it, throwing a tournaments favourite off there game for the rest of it could be worth it for an underhanded deal. Just too much potential for fucking shit up.
Small tournaments with next to nothing on the line can allow it, as it's never worth being nasty in that context, and if a match is ruined because of it relatively few people will be disappointed.
the main reason i think is to avoid cheating. communicating by hiding strategies in mundane sentences. rigged matches

I’ve seen top Terrans pull off mech in SC2 especially in the earlier days, but in my non expert opinion, Vultures and Goliaths are what’s missing in SC2
Am i just missing Zest or does Dark just play like a Zerg version of Zest. Building whatever he wants and kinda pulls it off.
Dark is more consistent though. He has as fewer dates with your mother than Zest.

Looks like this is beginning of the end for sc2. they are going to keep nerfing races until this turns into marine/tank craft mirror match and everyone other pro retires. We don't need brood war 2. we don't need widow mine abuse destroying half supply in one shot.
I dont understand how anyone could think a baneling mine that for a 100 extra minerals can
1) Hit air
2) Shoot again every 30 seconds
3) shoot while burrowed
was somehow a good idea?
Even vulture mines in sc1 were quite overpowered (being invisible and automatic) but at least they shot once and didnt hit air!

Bruh...it gets translated seconds after it's said. He even reads the translations the "CRANK" Observer translates it from Korean to English.

Zerg units are ill-balanced and the strong units rarely get nerved. Lurkers have to much range and should be visible without detection, then they were like heavier sieged siege tank instead of a easy-win-unit. At least there should be an upgrade for the invisibility if they are borrowed and thr range should be reduced by 2.

They're a worse siege tank/widow mine. The counter is air, siege tanks, ghosts, or avoiding them and attacking somewhere else with medivacs.

Nerfing the ghost doesent sound to bad actually - they counter every late game unit Zerg have. Same cannot be said for any of the late game zerg units, especially after all the nerfs.@@SylvisNuvara
