My cholesterol has always been very, very good..160 total, great HDL and low LDL and triglycerides of 50. My doctor pulled blood 6 months later and he said it was 290 and Triglycerides were 300??? He panicked and put me on both Crestor and Lipitor. He took my cholesterol 6 weeks later and my total cholesterol was 115 Triglycerides 37. It ended up being a very bad lab, but the damage was done. It messed up my metabolism I dropped 35 lb and have been sick and unable to function ever since. I WILL NEVER TOUCH THIS POISON AGAIN!!

#WOWZA! So you're saying your blood work came back wrong due to error made in the lab? I would have demanded the blood test be re-done if my cholesterol was always so good every time before! Terrible outcome for you!!😲

I'll keep my high cholesterol thanks. I've had it for years and it's done me no harm. It's sugar that causes the damage, not cholesterol.

Years ago, I took prescribed statin. I got wasting muscles on a trip. I stopped taking the statin immediately, but I still barely made it back home.
I have refused to take any statins since then. My current PCM told me to take fish oil supplements and foods high in Omega-3.

I got rid of my primary doctor and no plans of finding a new one. He was pushing these drugs. Not taking them.

My dad has been on statins for 30 years and he's at the gym right now. I'm 65 and he'll probably outlive me.

Thank you for teaching us! I do not care about keeping high level of LDL, and HDL levels, but I must avoid keeping level of low both of them. Only to be reduce cholesterol level in your body, I think to reduce food intake then lose weight and moderate level of cholesterols in your body. 😌
