  • Indulge in the sweetness of Eid with these irresistible Baklava Rolls! This special recipe features crunchy nuts, flaky phyllo dough, and a soak of sugar syrup, combining the classic flavors of baklava with a fun and portable twist. These baklava rolls are perfect for celebrating with family and friends.
    Ingredients:
    - 1 package of phyllo dough sheets
    - 1 cup chopped walnuts
    - 1 cup chopped pistachios
    - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    - 1 cup butter, melted
    - 1 cup sugar
    - 2 cups water
    - 1 cinnamon stick
    - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    Garnish:
    - Pistachios and rose petals
    Instructions:
    1. For the sugar syrup, add sugar, water, and cinnamon stick to a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
    2. In a bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
    3. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees. Unroll the phyllo dough sheets and cover them with a damp towel to prevent drying out.
    4. Take two sheets of phyllo dough and brush each of them generously with melted butter. Sprinkle a layer of the nut mixture and roll the phyllo sheet tightly to form a log. Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets and nut mixture.
    5. Place the rolls seam-side down on a lined pan with butter. Brush the tops of the rolls with more melted butter.
    6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
    7. Once the baklava rolls are done baking, immediately pour the cool sugar syrup over them.
    8. Allow the rolls to cool completely before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
