- Turkish Pistachio baklava using phyllo sheet.. You are going to love these easy version of crunchy baklava with the phyllo sheets. If you want to use less sugar din't pour the syrup over. Just dip the baklava rolls in to syrup for 5 seconds and drain it. I really love pistachio but you can make it with hazelnuts or walnuts too.
The Ingredients For the Pistachio Baklava Rolls:
18 sheets of phyllo #4
about 100gr. unsalted butter
about 100gr. ground pistachio
For the syrup
3 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 tsp lemon juice
I used 28 X 18 cm baking dish. You can fold and arrange your baklava rolls depend on your pans size

Can you please tell us what the times and temperatures are using Farenheit Please..Great Recipe and Technique..Thank You
Hi, I eat something like that or I am not sure it was the same in Jordan. Please let me know if can be the same because what I tried was delicious
Merhaba! I love your cooking videos. You have great recipes. I will make this rolled baklava soon. It looks so easy. Can I use yufka to make this or is it too thick? Thank you for sharing your recipes!
Merhaba thanks Turkish yufka would be thick for it. Do you live in Turkey to find yufka? YOu can look for baklava sheets too
@@TFT I live in UK. There are some Turkish grocery shops I get yufka from. I have some I need to use up, but I will use for borek instead. I'll look for baklava sheets soon. Thanks for your reply!
Ay çok gözel olmmoş! 3 tane filo işledebileriz?
Salam sister, how r u? As usual ur recipe r awesome, yummy and looks delicious.
Salam Asifa thank you so much
This looks delicious! I am in the USA and I just love your channel. For this recipe, should I use plain pistachio nuts or lightly salted pistachios nuts.
I was also thinking that I might try to make this with cashew nuts.
Hello dear welcome, it is better to use unsalted pistachio. Cashew yes maybe when u say I remembered pecans it is also delicious nut 😊🙋🏻
@@TFT , thank you so much
👏👏
Thank
Would pecans be okay in this recipe? What about almonds or peanuts? Thanks for sharing this gorgeous video!
Unsalted roasted pecans yes you may try. Almond i am not sure because we don't have it here and the texture would be different i guess. Peanuts i don't recommend. Walnuts are good too
Hi! Can you share the recipe for okra. I ate a restaurant at Isteklel street and looking for Turkish okra/lady finger recipe.
Salam sister I've just found ur channel it's very good thankyou. I would like to know if these can be frozen before cooking? 🙂
I should start growing pistachios here in texas
Well if you can don't wait :) It is yummy thing
Mam! Please make video on your Eid shopping
Hopefully I will try to make it 😊
Delicious, Aysenur! I've heard Antepia has the best Baklava. Have you been there and made video?
Thanks! Yes I have been ethereal but many years ago. Hopefully want to go back to film 😊
@@TFT I just realised the correct name is Gaziantep, my apologies. There are many videos on CZcams by foreigners all visiting the same restaurants. You should go and make a wonderful video with Turkish perspective.
Can I add or dust powder sugar so to keep my baklava crunchy
Please let me know If I make them a day before serving, I shouldn’t put the syrup right after they bake and pour it the following day. Should the syrup be cold or warm please
In the US, where can you find turkish green pistachios? most other pistachios look yellow/brown
Hi good question I am not sure actually. Maybe you can look special baking stores for that
Ahreej Eltayeb they have them at the Turkish markets or Armenian markets. They are pricey but very delicious
Indian stores are the best .
Can use roasted salted pistachio?
Do you buy the fillo dough frozen?
If I will use the sirup next day, both baklava and sirup will be cold..is that ok? Both cold? Thank you!
Yes, you can!
