  • This video will show you how you program TPMS on Sentra with special tool or no tools at all.
    When I show you "the tap" this suppose to be done with paperclip not just a finger nail lol
    And also, whats important is, once you turn on the ignition, you tap the paperclip 6 times against metal WITHIN first 10 seconds (you gotta be quick)
    The most important part is - you need to wait 1 minute before you drive or start using the TPMS tool on sensors.

    YEEEEEESSSSS!!! THANK YOU MAN!! I was going crazy trying the "rolling" procedure in my 350z but with that little orange tool it was just straight forward dumb proof easy! THANK YOU!

    Out of so many tries watching others videos, you were spot on, your tutorial was the one that helped me to get rid of that annoying light.

    2007 G35. Look above obd2, you find the plug behind black tape. No need to remove any panels. I used speaker wire to ground it to door lock hinge. PSI. FL34, FR31, RR29, RL26. Turn engine to on position. Tap 6 times. If it was flashing before, you will notice it flashing at a different rate. If it wasn't flashing before, it will begin to flash. Push the brake and start the car immediately after you notice the flash. Drive until the light becomes constant (20 mins). The relearn is complete. The light will remain constant. You need to put the proper tire pressure and let it turn off by itself. If you have a scanner, you will know it worked as you will no longer have 4 codes for no signal. Tested today Aug 7th 2022 on 2007 g35x.

    Thank you very much Paul! I changed my tyres recently and I've had this issue since. I followed your instructions and they worked! This is after several visits to mechanics and tyre shops. My car is Nissan GTR r35. This cars seems to still intimidate even the experts after more than a decade.

    Thank you so much! I have been trying EVERYTHING to get mine to reset on a 2007 Frontier, but your advice is the only trick that worked. I used the same tool, but I waited 90 seconds before beginning. When each tire was set, the hazards would flash to signal it was done correctly too. Thank you again!

    On my son's 2007 Murano this process worked fine, EXCEPT for the fact that when I waited the minute as you suggested the TPMS light stopped flashing. In my case it worked perfectly when I immediately programmed each sensor after getting the TPMS light flashing. Each sensor only took about 1-2 seconds to program. The hazard lights flashed briefly upon successful programming for each one. I also didn't need to remove any of the plastic trim as the small white wire harness device was accessible just looking underneath. (I laid on my back and put the parking brake on to give me clear access.)

    Paper clip and taps worked on my 2011 Nissan Maxima sv- added some new rims with new schrader tpms sensors- no need for that sensor activation tool, my research found the tires need 3lbs difference - took a couple of tries

    • @rootkitxx
      @rootkitxx  Před 3 lety

      On some cars the difference is sufficient for the car to program the sensors in (post the link to what pressures needed and where for other ppl). On some you really have to deflate tire after tire or use a tool.

    I want to do it without the tool first but after you tap it six times and wait for a minute do you connect it again or leave the paper clip in until the light goes off?

    I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra , The tire sensors are probably the original sensors , I have a EL-50448 sensor tool , I noticed that you trigger the tool two times per each tire sensor , I guess that is necessary , Do you get any lights on the nissan that flash when you trigger each sensor ? Do you know if the Low Battery light is for detecting low batteries on the tire sensors ? Thank You

    • @rootkitxx
      @rootkitxx  Před rokem

      I think low battery if just for the tool itself. Never checked it:)

      Hondas are different procedure, this is for Nissan. Search CZcams for "Honda TPMS reset", I have done it on my Civic before, but dont remember the exact procedure, I highly advise to get the tpms reset tool, ot makes life easier!
