You can also use baking powder, wood ash, pencil graphite, cement powder or cotton balls and all will give just as strong a finish and with much less effort and materials most people will have
also very good: mix epoxy with metal powder, then the connection is both hard and a little bit flexible afterwards

I've seen a number of these videos & plan to use some! I never knew that Baking Soda, Cotton balls, and Steel wool take on exceptional hardness when used with Super Glue and now I can add welding rods to the list. Thanks for the info!
