All the bands you mentioned have better singers... First time hearing these guys maybe this show is an exception but this sound mix is terrible.
I’m not going to forget most of those bands. I remember the first time I heard the Hellacopters on a “Terrorizer” magazine cd insert. This had to be close to 20 years ago. No doubt they’re good, but I honestly don’t think they’ve made one solid enough record to match any one of those bands you listed. I’m also not a fan of two of those bands. I think the Hellacopters could compile a double record of their best tunes and it would be brilliant.
All those bands you mentioned were 90s bands or before. I was listening to Bad Religion in the 80s. Just saying…lol. Not to mention, this is really a different sub genre of rock and roll. But that’s semantics I suppose.

C'mon.... Since when Trent plays drums, I mean real drums - not drum machines? And since when Trent can play lead guitar? And be great on both. No comparision. Trent is good, but not to Nicke greatness.

When a show start with a songl like "Hopeless case..." you, as a member of the audience know in your heart that you are in one of those night, not a just a regular rock concert...

Brought me through my 20s. Unforgettable nights listening live those days! The most important rock band in the early 2000´s. Maybe Rock `n`Roll really was really dead without them. ;-)

They're HUGE, Nicke and Dregen together again is a killer thing! Thank you for this, RP! Best RnR band in Europe. "Paiyn The Dues" still their best album ever, IMO.
As days get shorter and darker, many of us feel moody and sad with the passing of Summer.

That was great! Very High Energy! I've never seen them live and now i do want to see them.

Great band! I saw them in Porto Alegre/Brasil in 2003. After Sepultura and Deep Purple. Sensational night with my brother Carlo, that in 2019 died. I'll never forget!

These guys are rock gods! I lucked out and saw them on their first gig on their first American tour in 1999. Been a HUGE fan ever since!
Was that the one where they toured opening for the Supersuckers? Thought that was earlier than 99.
@@mlwsf I forget the opening band but it definitely wasn't the 'sucker's. I had already seen them a couple of times before.
@@gregsmith7949 the tour I saw they were opening for the Supersuckers. Then I saw them after Grande Rock came out with Murder City Devils and the Yo-yos.
First US tour was Dec 98 w/ NBT and the Quadrajets opening the east coast shows.

That song isn't even available on a "regular" Hellacopters album. In keeping with their long history of recording/releasing songs in unlikely places (B-sides, split singles, vinyl-only tracks, artist tributes, and so forth), the studio "My Mephisophelean Creed" is only on a 2016 vinyl-only single--which at the time, was their first newly-recorded release in 8 years.
I did not know this band, very good, I liked it, this is a sign that Rock and Roll did not die.
They've been one of my favorite bands since the 90s. Too bad the sound quality sucks on this video.

Luckily there are other Hellacopters vids out there with better mixes. It's still great that they are back out there and doing it again. I am also grateful that European festivals stream these things live even if the mixes aren't always perfect.

I skipped through it a bit and the guitars are way too quiet all the time.
@@DerEchteBold guitars are still quiet, but it sounds like they turned down and tuned the bass. So, you can turn it up.
Pretty rad that Dolf is playing bass for them now.

Paul Misner no, Dolf is from the Datsuns. Dregen on guitar is in Backyard Babies.
Actually he's been playng with Nicke in Imperial State Electric for the last 10 year.
Rodrigo Alves I knew he was in ISE but didn’t know he was playing with the Hellacopters until I saw this.
@@glenc741 Dregs was originally a Hellacopters before he left to do Backyard Babies and those tours with Michael Monroe. So you could say he came back.
