I live in Kentucky and drive through West Virginia all the time - indeed I drove the length of I-64 today. The first time I was in Munich in 1989 there was a celebration in the City Hall square, and as my family came up the stars from the U-train, where was an OomPaa band on the stage 50 feet away playing Country Roads. It’s a big hit there.

Hubby said the NFL should ditch London and play Munich. The crowd was fantastic! Oh and I love that they sang my home state's anthem 🥰
I've been to the London games once. It was a sad event. No real passion. Mostly some rich bankers that got tickets and were like "yeah, ok, lets go"
Germany was AMAZING. Hope the NFL plays there every year
I‘m a German living in Tampa and of course a Bucks fan . Seeing all the videos of how the fans were singing along, I was like, yah that’s right, show them how it’s done .
Getting really homesick watching all the videos on any social network
I hope everyone had a good time❤
Best crowd unity I have seen for an NFL game. Great hosts.
absolutely beautiful people, all of them.
The Munich game will forever be remembered. I really hope the NFL starts playing there every season like they do in London from now on.
really cool to see all the fans wearing gear from whatever team they pull for even if they arnt playing, just enjoying the game and loving the sport.
I love even the announcers couldn’t contain themselves.
they were also fascinated and carried away by the atmosphere. It was epic 👌🏈👍🙋♀️
I love the chanting non stop from the crowds. You can hear how much fun they are having !!!
Germany NEEDS to host more international NFL games.
What a crowd.
I actually think this is my favourite clip from all of football
I'm German !
I have to tell you something !
A young man named John Henry Deutschendorf Jr played guitar and sang very well. He renamed himself John Denver...His house name "Deutschendorf" which translated to English means German Village!
Was a bit difficult to pronounce for Americans! He was German
@@joergfro7149 ok it is understood
Legend has it they are still in the stadium singing.
This had definitly Super Bowl character here in germany. ❤️🔥
It’s a big hit there.
good things will never change 😃👍🙋♀️
I'm a Seahawks fan and I'm disappointed we lost but singing this brought tears to my eyes especially when the crowd was singing with each other country roads😭
We need more games like this in Germany 🇩🇪 the crowd the atmosphere was electric ⚡️ incredible 🏈❤️🔥🇩🇪🙌
Not a buccaneers fan but that gave me chills! This needs to be regular in ALL SPORTS IMMEDIATELY. The crowd is what was missing from the game in 2020 and just look at the difference. Fandom literally is one half of this thing. Thank you Germany
Cheers from Canada :)
Watched this moment live. LOVED IT!!!!!!!
How was the environment? Since TV is different.
Singing unisono is something the US is not used to at any games. It is great to share how we celebrate!
It was nice having you!
crowd singing happens in NFL games and in a LOT of college games, it's nothing new but it was cool to see
They sing this every time in ACTUAL real West Virginia at the games where it makes sense! It was nice but y’all gotta calm down. It’s literally our song! 😂
A good ball game, a positive crowd and in Munich of all places home of some of the world's best beers.
To all the NFL fans, welcome and hope you enjoyed the atmosphere ! We create this atmosphere every week in soccer all over Europe !
that crowd was such a cool thing to see and hear during the entire game. Germany definitely needs more nfl football games
Best atmosphere ever at an nfl game and it wasn’t even in the US
That was dope Germany! Greetings from Chicago 🇺🇸
The organizers chose Country Roads and Sweet Caroline on purpose. These are easily the two most popular songs at the Oktoberfest. Literally EVERYONE in Munich and Bavaria knows the words :D
It was a real pleasure seeing NFL football in the Allianz Arena! Who would have thought of a game here in Germany 5 years ago? I hope the American guests liked it as much as I did and of course you’re very welcome coming over here again for many times!
And y’all got to see the goat Tom Brady. I’m. a giants fan but respect greatness and that’s what Tom Brady is. Also Good luck next week. World Cup time baby!!
@@tonykiriakidis5219 I’m a Jets fan. What a time to be a NY sports fan isn’t it?
@@venkmanny4100 right. 7-2 and 6-3. We flying
We did. In fact, I would say it's Americans were as excited over the German fans as we were with the game. Seeing your reaction to a sport we Americans love so much is so wonderful! Much love, Deutschland. Much love.
All of that as the game was going on. This is one of those moments to remember.
One thing I love about the European fans is that when they go to a game they wear any American team jersey lol it’s pretty awesome to see
for the fans of the sport, a regular season game is a cultural event
you'll see the same if and when the NFL comes to Brazil... I really want to see a game at Maracanã
I am pretty sure most of them didn't were "any american team jersey" as most of the fans weren't either Bucs or Seahawks fans but NFL fans in general (from other teams). As this is their only opportunity to watch a regular season game they showed up in their teams jersey rather than a bucs/seahawks one
@@daheck81 I was in Munich several years ago, and was at the Hard Rock bar there during a Steelers-Broncos playoff game. I had my Troy Polamalu shirt on, and ran into a guy with his Polamalu jersey on. We met and shook hands and had our picture taken together.
Also earlier in the day, I’d been watching coverage of the early games in my hotel room. I saw none other than Rob Ryan as an analyst on SkySports.
@@daheck81 A lot of TB12 Patriots jerseys
😂😂
as an american I love this song! good job to my German friends!
Hello my dear friends all over the world. I'm from Munich and unfortunately I couldn't be in the Allianz Arena. But this event shows that no matter where you're from... whether from Germany or from Russia, from the Ukraine or from Turkey, from the USA or from China... No matter where we / you come from!!! We can all celebrate together in peace. I love football and I love the community of people from all over the world. 🍻 Greetings from Germany to everyone.

Felt like home to me 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 ❤
This is what winning WW2 looks like
As a GERMAN🇩🇪 who lives in GERMANY 🇩🇪 and love clocking american girls.
I appreciate american women.
That is extremely wholesome. Seeing all the different jerseys singing it together.
Amazing vibes! Thank you Germany - this brought tears to my eyes!
The announcers were having fun too
As a German expat living in the beautiful US of A, I am incredibly proud to see how welcome the NFL players and international fans felt! Fanship (if that word even exists) at it’s finest. May it continue!
That word does now. How appropriate!! FANSHIP!!🥰
These soccer crowds are on another level
This is honestly one of the cooler live moments at a sporting event, that game in general was just amazing to watch for the crowd alone
Take me home, Autobahn...
as a fan on the front row, I can confirm how amazing it was
A foreign crowd singing john Denver
Now I've seen it all
It’s a very popular song here in Germany 👍 we sing a lot of your classics you would be surprised haha
@@gluckspilz1205 Ok, I was in the dark on why they would sing that old 70s song.
@@gluckspilz1205 I'm from Kentucky, and currently living in Illinois
Nobody up here listens to any country music
I'm just shocked that Germany of all places likes this song more than a northern state lol
@Carter Bryne don't be ornery now
@@GraveMemories I can confirm that in Belgium, we also listen to these songs. Mostly at the end of a night in pubs or weddings :)
And it took place in the stadium of my favorite club. Pure chills.
Love this! This is why we love sports. The company of each other and then yuh have 60K people singing together. How dope!
imagine the life realization of geno smith in this moment, plays tom brady in germany, just to play country roads afterwards and the whole crowd sings it!
This is beautiful… thank you Germany!
Who knew American Football would do more for foreign relations than any politician could ever dream of. Bravo!
I watched the game from a public viewing event that out german NFL broadcaster hosted (with 6.7k fans) because i couldn't get any tickets. The game was also watched by 2.7 million people in Germany in the TV. I am so thankful for the NFL to play here in Germany. The hype for this sport is getting bigger and bigger. I cant believe what happened that sunday. That atmosphere in the stadium and in the whole city the whole week was mindblowing. I hope there will be many more games in germany soon so that i can get to a game myself. Hope you American Fans enjoyed it as much as we did. You cant imagine how big of a dream this was for us german fans. Thank you 🙏
Love how he pronounces "John DENVER" in disbelief 😂
Hats off to everyone who was there. Can't get enough of this atmosphere

My God what a sight. Love from the states ♥️
Thanks to you and the NFL to make this possible ❤️🏈🇺🇸
