    I don't use my Glitch during rounds, however, it is as critical for my warm up process as putting at the basket from 15-20. The Glitch doesn't lie, if my nose angle is wrong, it gives instant feedback and it really helps lock in some form items before having to make adjustments after my second or third hole. Also true for a "focused" catch session - helps to lock in nose angle and hyzer angles as well.

    I use the glitch all the time under 30-100 feet. Instead of laying up I feel more confident in running it and have a lot more throw-ins and a lot less roll aways making death putts less scary. I love the Glitch 🔥

    I've only used a glitch during a round a few times for floaty bids, but it is the perfect disc for my elementary-aged kids. They don't seem to mind the depth, and they have fun throwing it.

    I got a misprint pitch for sale and it made the bag. Good for long throw in opportunities, touchy turn forehands, and short placement shots especially since I play ultimate as well so there was no learning curve for me.
    In the old poll I said I don’t use them, but that has changed now
    I got it in 158g so it’s no too flippy for me (even when throwing it near the 300ft mark)

    I use a glitch. As a newer player I tend to have my fair share of shanks every now and then. Throwing from wierd footing or not ideal positions on a course the glitch helps me get some easy distance due to its glide and its neutral flight.

    Hey Greg! I throw my Spore all the time within 150 feet. It always lands soft and flat. Its extremely soft plastic and always sits right where I land it. Its Lazer straight if you throw it on hyzer with a some touch. If you power it to much it will flip over. It requires touch for sure. But I rely on it a ton.

    I bought a used innova Sonic at my local shop for $7 and it is probably my favorite disc ever. I saw 1/2/-4/0 and I had to try it. It’s amazing to me how many times I need this thing, and how many times in the past I needed it. Got a glitch a while back. Brought it out 2 times and it’s been in my trunk ever since. It has no utility for me like the sonic.

    I bag a Glitch. I like to use for approach shots that I need to stall and land softly. It's a disc that matches up with my throwing style well but I understand why some just don't care for it. I guess that's why so many different molds exist. So far I prefer the hand feel of the Glitch over the Pitch but I would like to see the Pitch in Neutron Soft for a better comparison.

    I've used Glitches in casual and competitive rounds since it was released. Mostly on more wooded courses for shots of 60-200 feet, when a softer touch is more important to get through/around technical parts of a hole. I also have a few Spores on the shelf and while I like the way they fly, I'm more likely to use them during colder weather and/or winter series rounds because of how soft the plastic is. I like both molds.

    I had one Glitch, which I promptly yanked into another pocket dimension, but the depth was offputting for me. I did turn one gimmick into another, as I do love the Doomsday Depth Charge for another "no speed, fly like a brick, and stop with no ground play" specialty. Different strokes for different folks. Next on the table for me? You've covered the "Thunderbird" slot, now what about the Sphinx, Heat, Roadrunner, understable 9-speed hyzer-flip noodle-arm slot? Compare what Caleb would want that slot for (rollers, massive turnovers) compared to the noodle armed hyzer-flippers (me!).

    I wish you would've added the Rattler and the Beetle to the conparison. I bag the new proton soft Glitch for it's small add to the stability. I use the Glitch for approaches where I don't have room for a proper reach back and some fun runs from around 100 ft.

    I have a Spore (Cloud Stone version) in the bag, but use it almost exclusively for floating nose up putts under tree branches or if I have to release the putt from below the rim of the basket. I've got a Pixel in the bag for those straight, floaty 100-180 foot approaches.

    I've bagged a Lat64 Bite for the past 5 years and it does occasionally get thrown in play. I like it for short range tomahawks with soft landings and both forehand and backhand turnovers at slow speeds (great patent pending disc). It's not 100% essential that I have that disc but it also doesn't take up any space since it slots like a lid over my slammer.

    I, like a lot of people, fell into the hype of the glitch and was throwing it for everything but now I realize its real use is mostly when you have a low ceiling upshot or putt so you can float it close with minimal effort. That's my take anyways.

  • @vidathan
    @vidathan Před 16 dny

    I find them useful for a few, admittedly specific, areas. I use it to practice throwing with no wobble, as my pitch/glitch has low tolerance for this. Clean release! Secondly, it’s great to give to new players as a preface to disc golf discs, if they are familiar with traditional frisbees/ultimate style discs. Lastly, although I do not play in tournaments, I still use them for a specific upshot, high gentle turn with no chance of fading, but I want it to glide in and just sit…maybe 100-150 ft max. Don’t have to throw it as hard as other discs I could use in this slot!

    Albeit ive only been playing about 8 months but I picked up a glitch because a friend I play with regularly throws one to great effect and I was hoping I could get the disc to have the same type of flight for me; sadly it doesn't and forehand or backhand I tend to turn mine over or sail 80 feet in a direction I wasn't aiming so it stays out of my bag unless I'm having a fully "for fun" round where I'm just out to have a great time with the family

    I'm betting the Streamline Parachute is gonna fly more like the Spore. MVP said the idea for the Pitch and the Parachute is to have glitch like discs that are more over or understable. With the Pitch being flipper, look for the Parachute to be alittle beefier

  • @Motorboatasaurus
    @Motorboatasaurus Před 16 dny

    I enjoy the Glitch but at the same time think of it as like a collectable or memey disc rather than something I use regularly. I find its flight very unpredictable sometimes turning over like crazy sometimes holding dead straight with a slight fade. I also hate the glide while putting I hit the top band with it constantly because I expect it to drop some and it just doesn't. The Spore looks interesting though. I think that 1 fade might be what I want for some reliability in the disc.

    I've been playing for 10 years and I use a glitch. It's a super straight low effort disc that travels on a rope and holds every angle so if I'm scrambling or need a dead straight shot it's a glitch

  • @edithkramer7689
    @edithkramer7689 Před 16 dny

    I came from ultimate and I was really excited to try the glitch but after I threw it a few times I couldn't really find anything that it did that was useful to scoring well on the course. Its fun to throw, but it has too much glide to trust it on a shot that matters. The result could be spectacular or spectacularly awful. I prefer my slow discs to predictably drop out of the sky and hit the ground. I've never played competitive rounds with anybody who threw a glitch and scored well, but Im sure somebody out there has.

    So i throw my fairways about 300, mids about 270. I typically stick to 9 speeds as i need all the distance i can get and typical 7 speeds only go about 285 ish so there isnt much need for them as the distance is so close to mids and 9 speeds. 7 speeds do feel a little better in my smaller hands though and I have tried a few 7 speeds that end up going the same distance as my 9 speeds and it makes me wonder what 7 speeds i havent tried that might feel more comfortable and go as far as my 9 speeds.
