To be fair, they made the "straightest putter in disc golf" claim before the Glitch was released. I love my Glitches, but the Hydrogen has really helped me identify poor nose angle problems in my form. I may not throw it much on the course, but it's great for practice.

Last season I had a Bohrium that beat in to slightly flip up when I gave it a light hyzer, and it was consistently my furthest flying disc, both forehand and backhand.
At that time my max distance was 110m, with most drives reaching 90-100m. Not sure what my max distance will be when winter leaves Norway 😄

I have had the Hydrogen since they first came out. I don't like to putt with it but love it for shapable approach shots and straight tunnel shots. You need to review their two newest discs. The new approach disc is really unique with an extreme puddle top.

I have been HYPED for you to cover Loft! I've been a huge fan of them since the start!
Honestly, lavender is an important color for me and it definitely in my bag, and when i found a straight putter designed in a more unique way, named after an element and the first run Founder's Edition comes in lavender, I was absolutely going to try it out!
The Hydrogen isn't in my bag anymore, but i carry the others, including 2 or 3 bohriums, since different runs and colors can fly very differently!
The bohrium has become a distance workhorse of a disc for me for shaping backhand and forehand, but I feel for me it shines brightest on low ceiling lines. I swear sometimes it flies better closer to the ground. lol
Their next two discs are actually coming to kickstarter on the 23rd! The Neon, their own take on an overstable inspired-by Berg putter, and the Titanium, an understable fairway. The Loft community has been asking for something slower and more understable, and this is such an exciting release!

I love my Bohrium! I picked up a custom-dyed Xenon while visiting Denmark as a souvenir, so I'm not throwing that one. ... I am anxiously awaiting the release of their NEON disc! (I love my Berg, so the super-pubble-top Neon might be another winner in my bag). I'm a fan of Loft!

I love my Loft discs. Every single one of them makes it into every bag I build. The two new ones coming out already have slots waiting for them.
Thank you for explaining the periodic table. I knew it was a thing, but I thought it was inverted and was confused.
    Bohrium doesn't play like 14 speed. I pretend its like 12 5 -2 3 or something.

Hi Greg - really like your reviews, simple and clear....which can be hard to do. I part of the original kickstarter Loft did. I received 3 putters in 2 plastics. I like them for the straight wood shots but prefer the Ruru by RPM as my go to putter. I also bought a Bhorium but don't have the arm speed at 71 years of age to drive this disc. Please do more reviews on RPM - their Tui was the first golf disc I ever bought and still have a place in the tournament bag for it.

I was super interested with the hydrogen when they announced and I bit in with a founders kit of alpha and beta. We both ended up using them primarily as throwers because of the same hand feel of the depth, and dispersed them among our local leagues. The Bohrium is definitely a smasher, the forehand grip took a while to stick with, but for me it couldn't fully replace my old comfort discs in the distance slot 😅 Silicon is a perfect OS mid range for both FH and BH IMO if you are messing around between options and need that shot often. Haven't yet thrown the Xenon (or the upcoming Titanium) but I have only heard great things about them

  • @NickCarroll

I have a Gamma Hydrogen and use it in my glow rounds on some par 2 holes and some upshots. The glow is really good even if it's not the top of the class. I only use it backhand because I produce too much wobble with my forehand - I use an Armadillo for that. But the Hydrogen a fantastic 1-speed disc, and I prefer it to similar discs like the Glitch because it's max weight and not as glidey, so I trust it more in all conditions.

I really want this as a full-blown starter set. Like all four of them as a starter said would be awesome. Now that being said, I have felt borium and the helium. I have not gotten a chance to play around with the other two but I would absolutely love. The only reason I know that I would love them is because I love how they feel in my hand. Putter is a little too deep. Absolutely. But when they get around to making their four-speed putter I would reckon it's going to be an absolute overstable phone and that will be coming at some point soon. It has to be so by all means let's support them and with any luck soon enough they'll be sponsoring players😊

I have had the Hydrogen for a few months, but I’m still figuring out how to throw it. The depth of the rim is a bit much for the size of my hands. This video has given me some new info. to explain why it flies the way it does for me, so I will give it some more time soon. Thanks for the great videos!

I honestly never heard of Løft discs until this video. I thought the science of the air turbulence was worth checking out, so I bought a Hydrogen in Beta Solid plastic, cause that's what my local disc golf shop had. I was amazed at how straight it flew. I love my Fission Envy and Neutron Proxy, but this is ridiculous!!! I've only played 2 rounds with it so far, but it seriously has saved me some strokes. Thanks for the info Greg and Six Sided Discs.👍 BTW, I used it for both throwing and putting just to fully test it out.

I got in on the initial kickstarter and have been pleased with the hydrogen in beta plastic. It spent some time as my main putting putter but is now my death putt distance putter. The silicon is my favorite overstable mid. I am currently comparing it to the lat 64 trust-very similar- but the hand feel on the silicon still gives it the edge to me. Xenon is too much meat hook for me, but I keep it around if I ever have to throw in a gale.

Hey Greg, I’ve been looking for an understable throwing putter ideally with a very shallow rim and no bead. Something that pushes 180-200 slightly drifting right in the end. Currently i have a base plastic Benny/Penny that does the job now that it’s a bit beat in. However it’s a bit deep and it’s beating in too fast. It already started to be inconsistent. What would you recomend? my next idea is to beat in a base plastic envy and hope it stays consistent but curious if I can find something that works out of the box.

A Proxy off the shelf would be great, electron Envy’s can get some turn but the Envy flies as far as a midrange, Proxy might be better. Either than or something like a Gateway Shaman or maybe a L64 Pure

I like what they are trying to do but man is the bhorium not the disc I thought it was going to be. I know flight numbers don't matter, but I didn't expect a 14 6 -1 3 to be a roller disc. Your mileage may vary, I know foundation had a more stable run of bhorium, maybe mine is just an outlier.
