Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men's game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy-which has been awarded to the winner since 1916-is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

That was so good. Bryson hitting a CLUTCH birdie that just barely fell in. Xander getting in trouble off the tee with terrible ball position above his feet and stripes it to get up and down for birdie...It was awesome

I’m so glad he won it, I was there to see him play round 2. He threw his glove at me as he was walking off the 18th. An adult sadly caught before I could. But back to the point, I’ve been watching him for a year now and it’s amazing to see how he’s grown. My favorite thing is that we have the same name. Good job Xander😊

Yeh been one of my favourite golfers for a long time … best thing is he earned it incredible nerve and poise how about that 4 iron ball way above his feet aiming out across the lake thats some balls right there
It doesn’t take balls to hit a pure 4 iron when you’re a professional. It’s as easy as hitting a 7 iron off of a mat.
@@jimlahey3919 I haven't seen many pull off s critical shot with that kind of awkward stance and under that kind of pressure with a major championship on the line. I'm sure Xander would laugh in your face with your "easy as hitting a 7 iron off a mat" comment. Context is important here.

Wonderful to watch Zander win and love hearing his caddy discussing the shot with him. I also love the huge crowd of spectators, and not any fighting. Wish other sports events followed suit. Congratulations Zander, you deserve it.

This was honestly what the sport of golf needed. A close finish, a fan favorite who had 12 top 10 finishes but never won, a leader board full of some of the biggest names, a close finish to a gripping final round, oh and the the 2nd place finisher was the heel that everyone loves to hate

With Xander win who now becomes known as the best player to never win a major? If I had to guess who is the best player to never win a major that would be Victor Hovland.
It's Cantlay, then Fowler, then Finau for me. Vic is too young, but his talent is obvious.
I count the Fed Ex cup as being equal to a major even though it's not one of the 4 majors. In some ways it's bigger than a major, especially the prize money.
@@swerne01 A FedEx cup win is huge, as is a players championship win. The greatest players in history win Majors, nobody remembers players that don't win Major Championships regardless of how many FedEX cups you win.

Not at all. Bryson just crushed the entire PGA field except for one guy. This is GREAT for LIV golf, which is why the PGA refused to give air time to Bryson for most of the tournament. PGA soy boys (like you, clearly) are scared that some of their revenue will be split soon.

He didn't pull it. It jumped left right off the putter head and held the line.
@@gregrizzo8054 A ball doesn't just "Jump Left off the Putter Face".... You can see the face close ever so slightly and the ball goes Left... that's called a "Pull"
@@Leartech81 I watched it again about 5 times. You are correct he did pull it left. I'll take all my putts pulled about 2 degrees if they go in the hole, especially to win tournaments. I disagree about pace. The putt never left the line it was on, so if its slower it falls in sooner on the edge instead of the back.
Thank fucking god a LIV guy didn’t win. They can’t handle the 4 day grind. All they play is rinky dink uncompetitive tournaments.
