They didn’t show Tiger hobbling off the course - or dragging himself around that final round - before he went in for surgery ! The guy put his body through astonishing stresses to stay at the top. It was the end of a momentous era - it did have a feel a little like when Tyson was finally stopped (at least to me lol) but Tiger eventually came back & did what Tiger does best, kept winning Tournaments, ending with the Masters victory ! Legend of the game 🐯 💜

I remember the 2000 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP when Bob May was tied with Tiger on Sunday on the 18th hole and Tiger hit out in the sticks and the camera was looking for it for about 5 seconds and then out of nowhere the ball came back into play, and there was a story in the Sports Illustrated Magazine where people had notified Bob May that a little boy had picked up Tigers ball and chucked it into the playable position, and I rewatched the video last April of 2024 and there was just a few people in the area but it did show the ball come back in to play and the announcers didn’t really catch on to it. But the ball had landed inside of some bushes and whether the boy was just playing around or whatever but the ball was unplayable and then they tied the round and had the playoff and of course Tiger won the 2000 PGA.
