I just installed the RO-PH90 a few days ago. I didn’t watch this video till now. And realized that I didn’t put on the foam piece the way you did in the video. I put the pad onto the pipe. Then put the saddle valve around the pipe. So it’s on backwards. It’s draining. And at the moment, not leaking. But is that going to effect it in the long run?

The instructions in the manual do now say to install the foam piece directly onto your pipe, so either installation is correct. As long as the drain line is not blocked and there is no leak coming from the saddle, there should be no problem.

No matter how I tighten it, there is slight drip leak...afraid to break pipe its attached to. I cant turn off water to apt either...

Use Teflon paste with the Teflon tape. Put Teflon tape down then smear the Teflon paste over the tape then screw tight. That will fix it I guarantee!

There’s no cold water coming out right after needle valve installation, do you know why?

Please make sure that water supply is turned on, as well as the needle valve is turned on all of the way (the valve should be turned towards the left).
