- Since getting out of the navy shortly before Covid, I've felt tied down and trapped in regular routine. Bills coming in, going out and so many unnecessary things occupying my time. I've decided to leave those behind and live completely from my Cayenne. An unlikely pick for this type of thing, but it's what made the most sense for me.

I am planing on moving in my Macan pretty soon. I know is not as much space as the cayenne but since I am only 5'3'' I think I will be fine. I am just nervous about the night parking situation. I will be in Florida soon. Love your video thank you for sharing and all the good information.
I believe you can be fine! my biggest recommendation would be getting your windows tinted as dark as legally possible!

@@zackova6307 for me it's the sense of freedom. not being tied down to any place and no where to be, no time to be there. just living life on my own terms.

Damn you! I have a Gx470 built pretty much the exactly the same. I really want a Turbo Cayenne but ruled it out because i thought no way I could fit a sleeping platform for my 6'4 self. You made it work and are even taller so now I REALLY want one. Thanks for your service but not for the Cayenne encouragement.

Stat away from the Trubo unless you have real deep pockets. The "S" is perfect for everyday driving.

not a bad decision at all, especially the E1 series, I'm hoping to find a good value one back home and do a lux overland conversion. thing with overlanding, you often need to cover a lot of tarmac to get where you want go, and also, being comfortable helps reduce fatigue - this is where the first gen Cayenne is a winner - I'm going get one without air suspension, do a 2 inch lift, roof top tent, drawer system, awning etc, cannot wait

General Tire ATX’s! I’m a fan. They do well offroad and also are very quiet and behave well on road! Snow performance has been good in my experience!

Lovely, with that lift and tyre set up how is it on the road? Can you compare it to other vehicles you've driven. Thank you for showing us your awesome set up.
Honestly I can’t compare it to other vehicles I’ve driven! This is my first offroad vehicle I’ve owned. It still handles nearly as well as a stock cayenne, just a bit slower. I also have my sway bars removed!

hey man i was wondering your opinion do you think it be smarter to get a 2008 cayenne with 174k miles for 7k or 2005 cayenne s with 122k miles on it for 7.5k

Gunna get one of these currently living in a ford focus 2008 in a very expensive city, think I will get it in another state and have insurance applied to it then shipped to my current state. Any idea how much a used price is and its longevity along with expenses for repairs? Is it reliable? I have many questions sorry, I just thought of this and hopefully you will see this I need answers directly from the source.
I'm not able to speak correctly on reliability because every car is different and I push harder than most. FCP Euro has a bunch of videos explaining maintenance expectations and such on their CZcams. they're an incredible resource.
Why do you not have a rooftop tent?

Any wheel/tire advice? I have a 2012 Cayenne S that I got to tow a camper. It has all season tires on it now with 19 inch rims.
From what I gather I would need to buy 18 inch rims to put on All Terrain Tires.
If I ever get over my depression/whatever you want to call it, and install the solar panels, inverter, and batteries that I have... I want to use it to go boondocking.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Im very interested in the technical aspects of the car. The name of the suspension lift kit. Why you chose the tire brand. Me and my family are planning on overlanding Africa and we’re looking at the Q7 but the Cayenne might be an interesting option. Thank you 🙏🏿
Eurowise the company sells lift kits for the Q7 chassis also as it’s the same as cayenne.
Tires are nitto trail grapplers! If you’re overlanding you may want to look into a diesel to get decent fuel consumption.
Are these cars reliable? I’m considering a 2015 hybrid model with 70k miles
I’ve loved mine and it would be incredibly reliable if it stayed on road 24/7.
How tall is it from the ground to the roof without the rack and accessories ontop?

Mam İ love this 4x4. I am planning to get one but they say the non turbo v8s have the cylinder bore wear issue. Have you heard of it?
The 957’s are less prone to those issues. It’s not something I’d worry about

Love the concept. I’m subscribed and looking forward to following your adventures. One thing, though: if you’re going to make content centered on a Porsche, you need to pronounce the name correctly. Not to be a jerk, but there are two syllables in Porsche (Por-sha), not one.

11mpg yes there's a 4" kit for air suspension!

Hey bro, if you have chosen this lifestyle and CZcams videos is gonna be your thing then why do the video like this? hurried , bad light, without any sort of pointers / script skeleton?? This could be a much better video.. How many people have the bragging rights of living out of a cayenne, maybe 10 in the entire world! Maybe! You got something real cool going on, but put some more work in it if this is what you wanna do going forward..
