utd's home record is better than arsenal's, they play Bournemouth away then Chelsea and Fulham at home and only need 2 wins if Liverpool win their remaining games. Chelsea are pretty trash right now and Fulham and Bournemouth both shud be on the beach. Liverpool has Leicester away (relegation scrap) and villa to come to anfield (fighting for europe), utd are rightly favourites along with Newcastle to get top 4

I grew up with the truly great commentators, Coleman, Johns, Moore and Motson. Any biases never showed. They kept the standards 100%

These old commentators have an inflated reputation (except IMO Motson). They weren't anywhere near as knowledgeable as present-day commentators. Their knowledge of foreign teams was especially very poor.
The sight of all those "loyal" Arsenal fans abandoning their team and leaving early was despicable. They've had a great season, 15 points ahead of everyone else, and don't deserve to be disrespected like that by their "supporters".

I get that, but if you’ve ever tried to get from the stadium to the tube stations it’s a nightmare. Crushes and kids being separated. They built the stadium and ignored all the infrastructure. Older folks, disabled, the unwell, families with little kids, lots of reasons why they do it. It’s always been that way at the new stadium.

I'm an Arsenal fan and I can say that although compared to last season the mentality has gotten better it's still far off from what you need to be winning PL's and CL's. Focus on your job and do it right over looking around at everyone else. We lost the title the moment the team started watching City games and it not being anything to do with match preparation. Arsenal need a squad and that involves moving on some players who don't meet the levels and bringing in about 5 quality players who can bring in moments of brilliance to provide competition and cover.

I'm a Gooner. As far as I know, Martin Tyler has quite close connections to Arsenal. I'd even go so far as to suspect he's an Arsenal fan. So I'm not sure where Martin Keown has found this from other than I too was extremely annoyed with the commentary form yesterday's match - to the point where I couldn't listen to Neville's Manc whining anymore and turned the sound to mute. When your team is losing, it's hard to listen to Gary Neville's commentary because he's persistent to the point where you just want him to shut up making the same point - YES WE KNOW what you're saying is right, but please, don't keep ramming it down our ears! So maybe, like me, Keown had got so frustrated with the team he loves that he started taking it personally?

I do get Martins point regarding the atmosphere of the stadium being flat, after hearing that Manchester City had won yet again against Everton. As the crowd had been with the players all season, and had created quite a noise especially for the Emirates. It was so out of order for Simon and Jim to be so smug, in such a scenario belittling what Keown was actually getting at. The players couldn't sustain there energy levels and there performance suffered because of it.
He should have to produce evidence if he's going to make that kind of accusation. Are we forgetting Tony Adams: "CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!".

It was obvious to me very early in the season that once Saliba got injured, as he was pretty much guaranteed to do because he always does, then Arsenal were done. That's exactly what happened.

Arsenal fans, players and all genuine football lovers had hoped that Everton would hold City, especially after the Brighton win, and also because they're fighting for their Premier League status. I think it was fair for all of us to have some hope.

Are you telling me that Everton, a team that won against a well organised team like Brighton on their own turf by 5 goals and a team that is at risk of being relegated, weren't expected to win or draw against Man City on their own pitch and on front of their fans?!! Come on, you're definitely not being serious!!
@@jamallaaib2286 yes i am. Because there is a massive difference between Brighton and Man city. If i think city are favourites against Real Madrid why would i suddenly back against them just because a team that has been rooted in bottom five all season randomly beat Brighton?
