Excellent video, no nonsense, to the point. Also, most users will be looking at the G923 + Challenge X setup, so it was great that you used it as an example.

To add on, it can actually adjust the wheel mount toward/backward -not only by tilting, you can unscrew the wheel mount, and there are two rows of unused screw holes which you can screw the plate in more toward/backward.
Thanks for that. I find that the seating position are too leaned back, and if I put the seat in position 2 -3 I am super close to the wheel. I will try to move the steering plate back

What nm of torque are you running ?
@@aidansedore5182 I don’t even know how to adjust that. I run on the standard one that comes with GT 7 and it feels light. In assetto corsa you can feel more resistance.

Is there any way to install the power pack under the pedals or as a part of the rig so you don't have to have it hanging out separately all the time?
I just wish Logitech just made a playseat challenge for a direct drive wheel.. I currently use a the original playseat challenge with all the stability mods and it works very well. All logitech has to do is create a playseat with all the mods pre attached and make the thing that holds the plate to wheel out of metal... that make it perfect
I agree, the market for racing wheels has changed alot they should have factored that in.
There is already a standard playseat challenge that allows for installation of the Fanatec DD wheel bases. I have one.

I like how compact this is but for me I'd say the GT Lite Pro is better as you can easily use other wheels on it but it doesn't fold away as good as this.

Nice video, really down to detail. I'm about to get mine and use Logitech pedals with a loadcell on the brake. Do you think that will the pedals frame perform well with it? I'm more afraid to break the frame or have problems with the plastics that holds them in place...

Yes the GT Lite Pro is definitely the better option
I have a gt lite pro having previously owning the gt lite and the pro does feel a little sturdier with the extra straps creating a push pull system to create a little more strength. The most amazing part is the extra comfort though it really is a fantastic folding rig. Still I am now selling it as I have now moved to playseat trophy. It was hard to make the decision though.
Hello, does anyone know the measurements of the folded Logitech including the steering wheel and pedals?
I have the original playseat challenge version. It's box is much bigger but it's almost fully assembled compared to this. I will advise that if you're a big guy this seat will be tight. Also if you have a direct drive wheel like the fanatec then the steering wheel might be closer than you would like. But I love how portable the whole thing is. I say the platform is great if you have a lighter wheel like the thrust master or logitech and can remain attached while folding it up. But if you have a heavier base you probably have to remove it when folding the seat because it is too heavy to grip the platform. The holes on the platform dont align with the fanatec base.
I love the portability of this seat. I’m 6.2 240lbs. Do you think this will work for me? Thanks in advance.
@@omCi you probably can but the seat will be very reclined. your head will also go over the top of the seat so if you drive with your head in the air, no prob. but if you drive with your head against the headrest, it won't be ideal.
Thank you for replying. This is my first attempt into sim racing. Last week I got a ps5 Logitech wheel and pedals and a wheel stand. Love the wheel but setup with stand and computer chair or couch is not comfortable so I’m looking for something better. I do think that having a wheel over a controller is a night and day difference. It needs to be portable and storable. I looked into next level racing gt light which is bigger but it takes longer time to store and put away. If you have any suggestions for anything else I can look at I’m all ears.
@@omCi I will think you'll really like it. It's a good budget seat. But you will be storing it vertically if you leave the wheel attached. That's the way I do it. I just put it in the corner.

I bought it and I'm waiting for it to be delivered to me. I wanted to know if it is fully compatible with fanatec's csl dd. I see that you have tried the fanatec, but I wanted to know how many screws you used to connect it to the base? Just one? Was it stable
Did you get it working with the csl dd and how stable is it? Did you have to drill and make some modifications?
For now I have only tried the g923 and of course it is very stable, even without screwing on the plate. Later on I think I'll get the Logitech G pro, which should be compatible with the holes on the plate. The csl dd requires inverted plate and support brackets (the ones found for the previous version of the ch should be fine)
Thank you for the review! In term of flex, is it improved over the original Playseat challenge? Also wondering how is it with Logitech Pro wheel? The screw should fit better than the Fanatec CSL DD.
There'ss alway going to flex with a frame like this, with the PRO wheel its the same.
How did you install csl dd?
If I mount the plate in the center, won't the hole be blocked?
Has the hole location changed from the previous version?
I used the closest hole at the front, but someone in the comments suggested removing the plate and turning it around so the back faced the front, I've not had time to test that yet.
Did you try to flip the bsse plate (back become front), so you can use your CSL DD with 2 screws attached? I have the Actifit Challenge and did that. Let me know if that is possible with this new one
Why just 2, when you flip the base plate you can attach one more bolt on the back side of CSL DD.

Do you know if this is compatible with the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT wheel and T3PA pedals?
Sorry I don't have any thrustmaster wheels to test this.
@@GeekStreet the wheel base has 2 screw holes that are 134mm apart and 61mm back from the over hang lip.
The pedals also have 2 holes that are 235mm apart and 141mm away from the back of the pedal base.
I've taken these measurements from the center of the screw holes.
Could you please check if these would fit?
I would love to get this rig but can't find anywhere if my wheel and pedals are compatible.

3 holes - 0 - 5 - 10cm
2 holes - 0 - 13.5
2 holes - 0 - 17cm
2 holes - 0 - 6.8cm
On the Pedal plate you have
20.3cm width
17.5cm length
I've measured from the middle of the hole if that makes sense. Hope that helps.

How does this compare to the NRL equivalents such as the FGT Lite and the GT Lite Pro? I am looking for a foldable cockpit and would like to know which is best. Thanks!
It's much more compact than the NLR frames but it seem only limited for the budget Logitech wheels so because of this I'd say the NLR frame is better but if you never plan to go beyond the budget Logitech wheel then I'd say this best as its so compact.

I'd like to know this as well, especially if the T'LCM pedals will fit on the foot plate.
The manual of the seat says, its compatible to all wheels on the market. I'm using a Thrustmaster T248X on it, works very well.
