    This is a transformer that turns into a racing sim cockpit. Amazing what you did there and inspirational.
    Thank you for being so thorough as well

    Holy cow, this is some next level sh*t right there!! Very imaginative and perfectly solid solutions, I bet Playseat themselves never imagined their own rig handling something like this! Thanks for the inspiration mate :)

    I was about to buy a playseat challenge (no space for a proper rig), but something held me back because I wasn't sure if I could mod it to accommodate what I need... Well, you nailed it... I've hit the "buy" button, and now I am waiting mine to be delivered. Really thank you for uploading this!

    I'm guessing that the Foldability of the whole thing is pretty important for you !?
    Otherwise I'd say, with the amount you must have spent on all of this, you would've been better off buying a different rig that has all those mounts etc. already on it thus making everything cleaner and tidier for you.....but obviously those don't fold-away !!
    So for those that need the extra foldability feature.....You've done a Great Job and I bet the end result (actually racing on it) is Quality.....Nicely Done !!
    I also have a PlaySeat Challenge, as I need the foldability as well, but the only extras I've bought and installed (so-far) are.....A Gear Box mounting plate and a Wheel Base Stabiliser mod.
    Difference on my end is that I'm playing on an Xbox Series-X rather than P.C like yourself, so unfortunately, some of those mods won't actually work for me, would be nice if they made them work on Console in the future though.....Fingers crossed I guess !!
    Anyway.....Again, Nicely Done & Keep on Racing.....Enjoy !!

    This is great! I'm dreaming of doing something similar to the stability "Raj" mod - only with my little Thrustmaster wheel. And I'm quite curious to what the name is of the "awesome little thing" you show at 1:50?

    Hey mate, this is brilliant. However, since I don't have anything as strong as a DD1, do you think I could support the wheel plate by drilling some holes in the far left and right sides and securing some U-bolts upwards through the plate? Or do you have any other more simple suggestions to support the wheel plate that aren't very expensive and don't require those camera arms?
    Edit: Oh and also, what's the diameter of the tubing on the wheel part?

    Impressive setup mate! I have a question, how much does the V3 weight? Ive bought a dcsimracing pedal set that weighs aroud 5-6 kg (the base is made of steel) and i am not 100% sure my future playseat challenge will be able to handle it! should I be worried? Thank for the video :)

    The stability mod looks superb, thanks for sharing. You said the left pivot part needs to be larger as it goes on top of the plastic stuff, but as far as I can tell it is not over the plastic but directly on top of the seat's frame. Is this something you changed your mind later on or am I missing something?

    • @Dtgr
      @Dtgr Před 2 lety

      Answering to my own question. The pieces do not have clamps, they need to be slided into place. That is why the larger pivot part is needed.

    • @Dtgr
      @Dtgr Před 2 lety

      @@rickydossantosjr5840 Yes I did. Remove the front metal bar from the playseat (the one that the base plate attaches to), slide the pivots to place and reattach the metal bar.

      @@rickydossantosjr5840 there is a slot in the bottom side of the black plastic with "playseat" text on it. In the slot there's a "button" you can push in and then slide the bar out.
