I've seen videos where people get free spent grains from breweries to supplement their feed for their chickens and goats. Glad you pointed that out in yours too...
Its a great treat!

Same here. Not a fan of beer but I have never tried any like what Buddy makes. It’s very interesting to watch him make it!

Hi Buddy 👋, or should I say Brew Master?! I'm not a beer person myself. But I found it to b fascinating. I didn't realize there are so many steps n that it's kinda labour intensive. However, you make it look easy!

@Buddy Most welcome.

Buddy thanks for teaching us something new. Have a great day 🙏
I know you’re watching your carb intake but you should have Steph make some Beer Bread from your home brew. YUMMY 😋
I definitely make some exceptions and this sounds like one!!!
@@TheBuddyd I just think it would be interesting cause each one of your beers would give the bread a different flavor too. Definitely can’t deprive yourself lol
Thanks Buddy. I never really knew how beer was made; it’s very interesting.
This has been very interesting. I love the darker beers.
Me too!!
Buddy,I love your instructions you give when your making the beer. I'm not a drinker but I respect anyone who works at something and achieves it. You are smart to do what you know with the price of everything. I wish you a great evening, God Bless you always
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed watching the process for brewing beer. Very intetesting on the praline caramel whiskey flavor. It sounds delicious!!! Would love to be a taste tester, lol!!😊🤣❤Thank you for sharing love you and Stephanie's video's!! ❤🙌❤👍
Thanks for watching!
I love beer 🍺 but watching you brew your own is fascinating ❤❤❤I am rewatching all of your videos ❤❤❤
Very interesting video. I'm not much of a beer drink but have had a taste here or there. Years ago I lived up the street from Hamm's Brewery here in St. Paul, MN. They did tours and I actually went on the tour about three times with different groups of friends. At the end of each tour we were invited to the Brewery Bar for samples. The beer was always very cold and delicious. Thanks for sharing your brewing skills. I am grateful that Paw Paw asked us to check out your channel. Looking forward to see what else you and Stephanie have up your sleeves.
Thanks Susan!!
Awesome Buddy I've learned something new everytime I watch your family video 😊
Thats great!!
This is a very interesting & informative video. Great job Buddy!
Thanks!
Buddy, amazing video. I love micro brew beer and I imagine yours is delicious. Very interesting to see the process.
Thank you!
Amazing process for making beer at home. Looks like you need not only commitment but patience ☺️
There is a good amount of waiting, but it is worth it!
Hubby keeps taking over , from me watching. He enjoys your beer brewing videos. Haha. He once had a man who worked at brewery offer him 2000 original beer bottles , four 50 lb bags of bottle caps , plus boxes to store the beer in. These came from Olands Brewing Company in New Brunswick Canada. Hubby says he is impressed by your skills . Many don't take time to learn this skill.
Wow! I'd have to get a storage unit for buddy if he was ever given that much equipment 😂
Buddys brew days love it!
I love the smell all of it produces - and the idea for the taste sounds wonderful!
So interesting thanks for sharing ❤️🌻🐄🐮🦆🐝🦚🐷
Very cool ! 🍻🍺🍻
This is great! I always wanted to brew my own beer just for fun. I dont drink alcohol alot but I love the idea of learning new things.
This is so cool, thanks for sharing 👍
Mmmmmmm, I love stouts and porters. 👍🏻
Buddy, I’m not into beer, but your video was very interesting and great! I was intrigued! It takes a lot of patients and time to making your own beer! Great job!
Thanks Buddy, that was informative! I'm new to you and your wife's channel. I miss brewing beer. I'll get into it again. But in the meantime, I have some Anchor Steam brew from San Francisco, it's very good. Take care and keep the good videos coming you two.
I have actually had Anchor Brewing beer. Its really good!
My son and his wife use the spent grain for baking after the beer is made. I love them as they don't add much if any sugar to them. He also makes all different flavor of beer, one of my favorite was a chocolate & jalapeno beer.
That sounds delicious!
Very interesting and well explained!
Let’s go Buddy Stephanie Conner and Laura Uncle Daniel is rolling on the subscribers lol let’s go 💪💪❤️❤️
I know! I'm trying to keep up 😄

Nice video ❤️ 🙋♂️ 👍
Loved your video Buddy!
Thank you!
I haven’t drink beer in years, but you make me want to make some , and have a sip:)
You make really great tutorials, 👍. Enjoy you beer.
Sounds like it would taste great, but I've never tasted a beer I liked. Saying that, I've only tried it twice and that was something called Coors I think. I'm just not an alcohol drinker. I don't think this is anything like caned beer you buy tho. Loved this video showing all the steps, your very good at explaining in fact your very good at making videos. That is funny about the vanilla, yes the beans are where the flavor is.
Amazing, Thanks for sharing.
Like I said my late husband would of loved this he wanted to get involved in beer making when he retired but got sick! Love watching you make beer !Dang you are good at this so is Stephenie should of been doing this all along! Very informative an interesting!
That is so funny wonder if there is any beer in the drugs 😂❤Hos love that mash too!

My son-in-law brews beer and grows his own hops and sells them. We’re in Michigan
That's awesome!
Very interesting 👌
this is a very interesting video ... i myself don't drink but it's interesting the process you go thru ... hopefully it was as good as it sounded :)
This is quite an amazing process ! Thanks for all the information. This granny would usually pull a tab on a BudLight if I wanted a beer- but I would try this!❤
I enjoy a nice cold bud light also lol. Great video
Nice!
It's interesting, I never realized what all goes into making beer
My dog saw Luna on tv and he put his nose right up on the tv. lol
That's awesome!
Your a great instructor so natual
Not a big beer drinker, but learning this process is interesting. I do find myself wanting praline, pecan whiskey.
Thank you Buddy I really enjoyed watching this. I look forward to the end product. Do you make wine? I would love to watch that. Looking for to all the videos you and Stephanie are sharing with us. Hope everyone has a blessed day. 🌼
Yes we do! We make pear wine with our pears. We will show how we do that too
@@thedenmanhomestead OMGOSH I never thought about pears. ❤️
@@susanabaxley493 Its a great fall wine. We add some fall spices to the pear wine and it is delicious.
@@TheBuddyd oh that sounds good. I will be looking forward to seeing you make it.
Great video. I need to go have a beer now 😅
Thanks Buddy, I have been wondering how it is done at home!
❤️
Good morning y'all
Good morning!
Wow
A long time ago . My father took all us kids to pick sand plums . We picked all day. He made wine out of it. For our labor we all got to taste one teaspoon. It was awful 😖 but I was nine. Well dad drank too much. Decided to add more sugar. The next morning he opened the lid to find he added flour instead of sugar.. 😆 🤣 I didn't understand why he was so disappointed because it tasted horrible to me. Well that was the last time we made sand plum wine. Dad's been gone since 1999. I don't think I ever told him I remember our wine making adventure...
Hopefully it was a good memory!
Hey buddy how long does it take for the final process to finish fermenting love your video have never watched anyone make beer my dad used to make wine it was fun to watch and good to taste thanks for the great video you guys are awesome
So it kind of depends on what kind of beer and how strong you want it, but typically it is about a month before it is ready to drink.
Thank you appreciate it
Love these videos you and Steph have been putting out, and love getting know more of the Morrows. I'm not a big beer drinker but, the stuff you are making sounds so good. Jami said the one she had, had a hint of chocolate taste. Sign me up for one of those lol. Pitty you guy's live so far away would love to try some of these beers you make. What got you interested in brewing your own? Think that might be interesting to know.
❤❤
Maybe Al Davis, Lester 's one eyed turkey parrot would enjoy some of that malted grain. His crossed beak makes it hard for him to eat.
That's a great idea!
I can't tell you how much went wrong with my fast fermenter, but I'll try. Lol Great concept, but its a pain. Its plastic so short life span, have to completely disassemble and re-do teflon tape every time to properly clean, valve assembly falls out when taking the jar off, losing half my beer, or it trys to totally unscrew due to the lower being glued shut with wort. Valve assembly bushings are plastic and looked wore out after 2 fermentations. Don't think I've had one brew where the trub didn't clog the skinny valve so it doesn't drain anyway. I even whirlpool and mesh bag the wort between the kettle and fermenter. The top also tries to crossthread. It's hard to tell if it's sealed properly. Awesome conceptsbut total waste of money. I mainly use a 4 gal plastic, 5 gal plastic big mouth which also glues itself shut, or glass 6.5 gallon car boy which is totally reliable. The filled weight sucks and the mouth is small, making it hard to sample and dry hop, but she always does what she is supposed to.
Love dark beer. Don't find much here.
💖❤️💝
That was neat to watch. I have no experience so it was all learning. It was so detailed yet he was able to do it right from home! Love the cute helpers and tip about the chicken treats. How long has Buddy been doing this? What made him get started? Thanks for another great video!
I got him his first "beer kit" about 11 years ago. He's a craft beer lover so I thought it would be a cool hobby for him, and it kind of just took off 😄
Love the video have never watched the process .I hVe one question approximately how long does it take to finish fermenting. I used to watch my dad make wine it was so interesting and tasted great.
Just watched your first video and now this one. It’s very interesting. You have to enjoy beer, to invest in the equipment, to make the beer, as well as the time and process. Just curious, with all the products you have to buy, to make your 5 gal of beer, what would you spend?
Oh
What do you do with the beer byproducts,? Can you use it for fertilizer or compost?
cool interesting 🤠❤🌵
How does home brew compare cost wise to buying a similar beer. And where do you get your recipes from? Do you make it all up or do you have a base recipe that you just tweek?
So the breakdown is about $30 for the ingredients to brew what would cost you over $100 to buy. I usually use a recipe and just tweak it.
Oph you already answered it
I enjoyed this even tho I don’t drink often. What do u do with the mash? Bet Lesters Pig Trudy and crew would like it
It goes to the chickens 😊
Has it ever fallen off the table?
Buddy, have you or would you use Stephanie's honey to make mead?
We haven't yet but we are going to this year! Video incoming of course ;)
Hey Buddy! Can you brew beer beyond 5 or 6 percent?
Yes, you just need a good starting point as far as the sugar content and then enough yeast to turn it all into alcohol and a bit more time to ferment/condition nd the abv will be higher.
@@TheBuddyd cool. That’s good information. I don’t drink but I’m not opposed to learning how as maybe a bartender item. You’re both very good teachers 🌻🤩
I’m sry forgot to mention your oldest son in my first comment my bad ❤❤
Haha! It's ok, he's my little hermit child.
@@thedenmanhomestead lol
Sounds like a long process.
