I love all of your work, but when I think “echo’s art” I think of the spookier, edgier, art. The weird stuff. Even though I’ve only seen that in the early sketchbook tours.
But the way you presented these themes in your work really resonates with me and it’s inspired a lot of my own work.
There’s a manga called Umi ga Hashiru End Roll which is about a woman who gets into the film industry at 65.
Hard agree with needing more old woman stories. Part of the reason why I love Howl's Moving Castle so much!
When I think of your art I think of spooky creepy stuff with a mix of anime drawings, cute stuff and monsters. I would rewatch your sketchbook tours all the time in my college days as they gave me so much inspiration and I need to go back to watch them again so I can feel inspired again.
1:51 - Acquiring lots of good, cheap soil: It turned out that my local mushroom farm gives compost away by the truckload. They inoculate bags of oak chips, then dump the used chips in a giant compost pile that they turn with a tractor. Anyway, if there are any near you, I'd recommend calling to see what they do with their waste. Mine also just tosses their inoculation materials into it, so I have to pick out plastic bits, but it's worth it for truckloads of free, high quality, food grade compost
P.S.: You can rent trucks by the hour from places like Home Depot if you don't have access to one, and a if you line and cover truckloads of dirt with tarps then it'll be easier to clean the truck afterwards

Carbonated water is actually really good for plants! Gives them pleanty of nitrogen and whatnot

Save your used coffee grounds and egg shells. Grind the egg shells up and mix them and the coffee grounds in top soil. They add a ton of nutrients! You can also ask around at your local farmers market to find local compost companies that deliver. When I was a full time stylist, we had a lot of people with huge gardens that would come in and grab bags of hair clippings. When added to the soil around the perimeter of the garden, the hair keeps critters from getting your plants. I've never tried that, but it's worth researching
On filling garden beds: a lot of POOL companies will put you on a list for a dirt drop when they dig out a pool! They gotta put the dirt somewhere and it's more convenient for them to just drop it in someone's front yard. Use it as filler and top your beds with 6" of compost/worm castings/other nutrient-rich soil and adapt a no-till method along with a regulated feeding schedule to gradually turn all that crap dirt into good soil. Avoid root veg the first year. Filling the bottom of your bed with something that will decompose is also great, Hügelkultur can be done on a smaller scale with twigs and branches, leaves, cardboard (sans colored ink), and any kitchen scraps, rather than full logs. I'm excited to see you start a new garden with everything you've already learned!
I love watercolors, they work really well with botanical illustrations! You should definitely work on more, these are great

A combo of what was said about drawing monsters, and botanical drawings, is to draw fake plants. I saw someone online talk about this, but drawing fake plants is a fun exercise! Make them look alien, mythological, pre-historic, or something that doesn’t exist.
When you draw, I guess my expectation is it'll be cute when you're done.
Some artists I know, you see their rage, fear, sorrow or just confusion show up in their work.
You there's occasionally sadness, but there's still that cuteness, even if it's an eldritch horror.
I absolutely adore your work and really missed your art videos! I think my favorites series from you is your sketchbook series.
When i think of your style that's definitely what comes to mind. Old anime style and general Y2K nostalgia.
It reminds me of watching you back in highschool/middle school and finding so much comfort in the series.

When it comes to me thinking of your art its the spookier and edgier stuff. I first found your channel through your Tour of my Brain video and watched every single sketchbook tour video as they came out so Chui and all the shadow demon-y guys are what pop into my head.
Checking with local agri groups- farms, processing, etc. is a way to get material for compost. you do need to inquire as to what the material has in it- no matter what they do, all use some kind of additives (yes even organic farms use pesticides for example, just organic ones) so you do need to be careful of that.
You can also look into if there is any Bureau of Land Management spaces near you and check with the local office- sometimes they have spaces that they need dirt removed from and are happy to let you take it if your willing to truck it out yourself. Then its just finding good soil in it.
You can also check with local colleges/universities. Sometimes they will have leftover soil from their Agri programs that they need to get rid of. Same as the agri companies though, always inquire what it was used for/has in it.
Outside of those though, its the same ol' compost, mix in soil, build up over time is all I got.
Composting helps but it is a long process but it's great soil. You can use haybails adding nitrogen and you can use it as a garden bed and I think you can find some CZcams videos on how to do it.

I had the same problem when I started recording myself, but I did find the more I did it, the easier it became. Maybe I just stopped caring, I don't know. Art is great, you don't need to be on camera if you don't want. I think you are doing great.

Cost effective gardening from me is, for cost effective get large planting pots, put rocks or pool noodles at the bottom to take up space and for drainage, to prevent root rot. Get any dirt, I MEAN ANNY DIRT, and put it on top. I have grown potatoes, carrots, onions, pumpkins and peas this way and it works. For in ground raised bed, dig two inches into the ground in the bed shape. Place the wood for you beds, and use the dirt you dig up as your dirt. And as insane as it is, you want your plants to grow?? Talk to them.
