Here's wishing you the best of love from Malta (in the shadow of Mdina, actually)!
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Steve Hackett , looking forward to such releases .
Been to Mdina as well. Malta is awesome!
First acoustic album off steve for years nice work again great player versatile electric and classical 👍
From this young lad first chords he played with Genesis the man has become a guitar master by his own. Cinematic.
¡Bravo! ¡Maestro!
What do you mean by juvenile?
@@kennybluet5527 Young guitar player (eager to learn and to share his craftsmanship). One never stops learnig about the instrument. Genesis is my favorite band.
@@arturomontilla5073 okay. I may have misunderstood. In American English the word " juvenile" is sometimes a bit of an insult. It's used to describe something immature or second-- rate. I thought you may have meant it in that regard. But I see you didn't mean it like that. He's one of my favorites also.
And you're absolutely right. Always something new to learn on guitar.
@@kennybluet5527 ¡I stand corrected! ¡Thank you!.
magnifique album!
As always, Mr. Hackett is the mirror to the soul.Bravo Maestro!
Que linda essa música, me levou a muitos lugares, parece uma trilha sonora de algum filme do passado.....maravilhosa...linda demais....Steve é um gênio!
Maravilhoso... imperdível !!!
Two thumbs up for Mr. STEVE HACKETT
Wonderful Mr Hackett!! You touch out hearts
As a Maltese American who has been to the walled city in my youth, hats off to Mr. Hackett for a beautiful song. I look forward to seeing you in April in Boca Raton. I love everything you’ve done. A true master of his instrument.
Greetings from Malta.

Another testament of the Hackett Mastery and of the most exceptional collaborative bond with Roger King. What takes place at about the 3:20 mark is absolutely phenomenal.
Hats Off.....ff
Some mesmerizing, innovative piece. I was surprised, which isn't easy to do. It was quite bold to put this one right at the beginning of the latest "acoustic" album. One of the highlights of Under A Mediterranean Sky.
Степан, ваша музыка прекрасна! 🎶
Спасибо Вам за всё.
Nice ! One can only hope this soundtrack can someday be given a proper orchestral arrangement. Amazing endurance from the ever-ambitious, ever-youthful Mr. Steve Hackett.
Evocative grandiose beginning places you within the Medina as your imagination is taken on a tour. Meditative guitar work guides you through a film like sequence in your mind. Music Doesn’t come much more beautiful than this.
Beautiful!
Just sublime. Thanks Steve
this is wow.
I'd love to hear this performed by Steve Hackett and a live orchestra!
Beautiful.

Beautiful and majestic! Steve is such an amazing guitarist and composer!
Steve Hackett Metamorpheus Album proove Master Composer, like Brahms Beethoven and Bach
And Tchaikovsky Steve said my best composer Bach and Manfred Symphony Tchaikovsky and Schumann Cello Concerto MY God Composer czcams.com/video/S6Mn1UjggBY/video.html
The Underworld album is amazing!
Steve wrote composed my God , Brahms Beethoven Johann sebastian Bach ? Steve said i was inspired by Classic first
Great music! I listen some "Limelight" touch by Charles Chaplin, does anybody know if this is on purpose?
it's quite common to pay a tribute to someone else's music. Quotations/renditions/interpretations of different kinds is permissible. They even borrow from themselves out of earlier compositions. Tchaikovsky's Symphony One is a good example.
@@anthonylouhansk9425 Bullshit! Big time bullshit. It is not a note for note quotation. He incorporates the tune with quite significant alterations into the body of the entire composition for everybody to hear. Are you musically smarter than Steve. His intention clear to me, making the diamond shine even brighter thru putting it in the new environment.
Wonderful scoring - who's the orchestrator?
Roger King, Steve's keyboardist and producer, did the orchestrations.
@@sammarsh3679 cool thanks; might have to check out more of his work!
@@whistlepixie You have a journey ahead of you. This will be his 26th solo album (not counting live albums), plus the 6 he did with Genesis in the 70's. Many very different styles... his next one will be mostly electric.
Mdina is known as "The Silent City" rather than "The walled City"? I was there last year a week after Steve played a concert there. I cursed the wife for her choice of holiday week, front row tickets were available as well when I checked, :( and we were staying close to the venue ...lol
Sounds like Emperor
Some of this sounds a bit like Albéniz

@@haydnreg Exactly. Best £12 per month I spend.
So this is the sound track to a story? hmmmmmmmmmmmm nice.
DAMN ADVERTS!!!!! I vow to NEVER buy a single product that interrupts any MUSIC I'm trying to enjoy...EVER!!!
No ads for me - I pay for CZcams Premium. Mo ads, can download any video to phone or tablet. Best £12 per month I spend (apart from the electricity bill maybe, and broadband, but you get my drift).
Sorry, I don't understand:
why it's called "video"?... )
static video = audio. PROFIT.
xD
@@Romchikthelemon .
So why not to call it simply "audio"?... ))
@@davidrawzen8232 Good question.
@@Romchikthelemon because CZcams is video only .
So glad he got off the politics!!!
A touch of Mussorgsky maybe.
Roger King has been with Steve for some years now and he's a great keyboardist, however, that's where he belongs, and not being the co-author of nearly all this albums tracks, some of the album sounds nothing like Steve's style.
chaplin....
Noticed it too.
Cinematic, Mr. Hackett. A humble man, like Chaplin, that has grown a maestro by his own will.
