this is a total masterpiece. everything about it from the first note until it ends. great vocals, great use of acoustic and then electric etc. there is a story here, and the story is very intense this is an amazing title track

This new album is breathtaking. Beeing the titletrack i doesnt capture the sense of the whole album. I got the same feeling when i first heard Steve Hackett playing Narnia, long long time ago. There are no borders for Hackett and the album actually starts with an Elo alike intro that leads to this song, wolflight.
Its sublime and wonderful. A masterpiece.

Just gets better with every listen. Especially in concert. Lyrics, mythos, composition and guitar extraordinaire. Love it. I'm calling it liquid guitar and cellular music.
This is a great album. Steve loves both acoustical and electric guitars, and other "lutes", such as the "oud", which I had never heard of, in Dust and Dreams. My best to Steve on success of this album.
Real music. Stive and his guitar is impressive. I love Genesis, but Stive in his solo work is today the pearl.
Love Steve---he is the best. And the song and album is his best in many years----the ultimate musical trip he's been moving toward making for many years! As epic as Game of THrones!!

Exciting! Also, not too spaced out. I can't Wait to purchase "Wolflight" & See Steve Play this Year. His Classical Has Improved a Lot - His "Spanish Style" Shines! It' Is His Electric Treatment, though that I have Always Loved Him for Most - Bravo!

One of the greatest guitar genius in the world, both on the electric and acoustic work, since he began with Genesis in "Nursery Cryme", 1971.
Wonderful song. Multilayered through time space. The homage to the relationship between canine and humans is a poignant statement. Our very survival is interwoven with the domesticated wolf - security, hunting, herding, companion and healing. I love the expression of it. Glad to hear Steve sing. He has a beautiful voice. He's kind of a genius. I had dinner with him eons ago and loved his voice, and English accent.

As a very old Hackett acolyte from day one I was hoping for something more interesting at first hearing but everyone one else seem's happy with it anyway, though I find it remarkable some on here are saying what attire he should of had or not had on even down to criticizing Steve wearing a watch, bloody hell !
This song grows on me. I didn't appreciate it at first as being on par with some of Steve's other work, but it has a uniqueness that I like. His diversity is very interesting.

Brilliant!. High production values plus Steve Hackett's uniqueness makes this a one-a-kind jewel. I gotta say, this is the first time Steve's singing doesn't get in the way of a song, so I'm truly impressed there. My only concern here is how this is going to be played live. It looks like a busy song for one man to handle: singing, all those awesome guitars.... I'd hate seeing others on stage filling things up. Anyways..... 2 thumbs up! Keep it up!

One of Steve's most brilliant pieces, on his recent solo albums. I wish Steve would play concerts featuring much less Genesis music (although I love it) and more of his own recent tracks, like during the concerts of 2009, 2012 that I attended. On golden wings and love Song For A Vampyre and this one are some of his best pieces ever. I guess it's very difficult to play them live because of the multiples parts of classical and electric guitar but.... it must be possible.

i took 2 weeks off from listening to this because since it was released i have listened to the entire album approx 200x so refreshing after 2 weeks.
