Austin seems like the type of lad who'd tell a joke and the room would go quiet
Still a nice guy
Healy didnt bother to try it properly because he knew he wouldnt be as good
Peter "The Ferret" Stringer..one of the most underrated rugby players ever, he was one of the best scrum-halfs ever to play the sport in my opinion..
Hahahahaha
HIs pass was amazing, until he started spending more time pointing at the ball in rucks and screaming at the ref than passing
I agreed with everything Stringer said .
mark Dessie Same here, well thought out points
I think he went on a bit... over embellished even... but hard to disagree with him
His actions speak for themselves!
Stringer is by far the best passer off the deck of all time. He doesn’t take a step or pick up then pass- it’s straight off the floor and takes so much pressure off the 10. Watching some 9’s today take an age to get rid of it shows just how good he is. Respect
Stringer you beast

Stringer was bloody awesome here. He's also the only person I can recall tackling Jonah Lomu effectively on his own. Well him and Joost van der Westhuisen.
+vonteflon Japie Mulder - RWC final and wrong shoulder too.
***** OK, good point. Although he annoyed me with all that posturing and gesticulating.
And there's Joost Van Der Westhuysen as well that time now that I think about it.
I remember the quality of the tackle Stringer did on Lomu though - and the NZ commentator going "oh he's slipped", as he just couldn't fathom the thought that it was Ickle Pete that brought him down.
In International Rugby 1 on 1 with Lomu I can only recall 3, Stringer, Joost and Brian Lima.
vonteflon I
James Small kept him pretty quiet in the WC Final in 1995
exceptional throwing skills shown there by Stringer, the flight of his throws are just super.
Bring back rugby tonight, was the best this thing on TV
Healey's a bad losee
Syringer is a legend and still playing I think!
He's at Sale. Out recently with a torn bicep.
He retired 2018, I think that would make him 40. Probably would have gotten a couple more years except for injury. Look up his tap tackles.
wish he never left munster
fuck me stringer is bloody awesome
Healy knew he was beat before the game started...
What a legend and a really nice fella too.
The only one Stringer didn't get a bullseye on was down to Kay's big head getting in the way of his first swing.
This performance sums up Austin Healey
Plus Stringer was passing out his weaker side (unless he's a lefty).
MrMcBobb His choice.
at that level both sides would be almost the same, no weak side
MrMcBobb weak sides don’t exist for pro’s, if they have one then they make he weak side the strong side, so the sides definitely didn’t affect the result
I’m right handed but I pass off that side
I want one of those
stringer was too nice
Jejeje ni ganas de tirara el último
This is a no brainer stringer would best most people especially being a half-back
That was really sad to watch near the end.
Stringer 👍👍👍👍
Man does what he does for a living in a studio. Truly riveting TV.
Stringer was the best
Stringer is the irish beast
One Englishman helping out another Englishman. Don't want the Irish to look better.
AUSTIN IS A MUPPET
Cooll....
Austin made a real plonker of himself here
Not fair; Healey was never a scrum half.
MUNSTER MUNSTER
HAHAHAH.......rugby
isn't the target supposed to make an 'elephant noise' when a ball goes through . . .
