America lost its moral right to do that by failing to supply aid for 7 months.
if the Russians stop exporting or start manipulating the market (which could be at any moment, since there's a war on the petrodollar with BRICS countries) the funding stops entirely, hitting their oil infrastructure is not to Ukraine 's benefit or Europe. The west in particular Europe is simply still reliant on Russian oil and I don't see how they will flip that around any time soon. Nobody forced these "climate" freaks to not build power plants everywhere instead of the unreliable system that are placed now, which are actually still hurting the climate.
It's simple the west and east still need eachother and both will hurt economically if this keeps going and the first ones who will feel that are the citizens who's pockets are being picked dry and every generation after this exponential debt will be forced on.

It had a rear- facing turret and gunner. Something like this could be fitted to the Yak, and, when equipped with a pair of light machine guns could be used to destroy small or slow-moving drones.

The Boulton-Paul Defiant was based on flawed thinking that infected the British War Office. They forgot that aircraft operate in three dimensions.
However while Defiant failed as a fighter, it proved very useful as a night fighter to shoot down bombers.

Interrupter gears, which stopped machine guns from firing when the prop blades were in the way, is WW1 tech. Engineers could make it work again easily enough.
To accomplish that the gun has to be synched with a timing gear on the engine. If that's not a difficult modification then it can be done, otherwise it would be difficult.
And modifications are so much cheaper now. Unless they aren't.

The V-1 "Buzz" Bombs, in order for them to continue on towards the Target, a Gyro Compass was installed to keep the Rocket stable and on a level flight path, what was found out, if British Spitfires carefully nudged the wing of the V-1 up and flipped the V-1, the Gyro compass would be unable to correct its coarse and crash prematurely.
5:50 ... firing through the propeller circle: some of Germany's WW I + II fighters did excatly this: For example the 'Icons', the Fokker DR III Triplane, (flown by Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron, WW I), or the Messerschmidt Bf 109. They in fact both sported a mechanical synchronization of the guns and with the propeller shaft. 100 years old technology!

It amazes me how unprepared many countries are when it come s to protecting their own lands, Ukraine had to sacrifice everything to establish it's own sovereignty. Many saw the potential dangers of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, it's been happening for over eight years, and yet the military assistance has been slow in arriving in Ukraine. Didn't anyone see the potential danger that was about to be inflicted on the people of Ukraine and potentially on Europe itself?
In western Europe, that time between 2014 and 2022 was considered to be peace. No need to act, one considered like a dozen dead each year not to be a considerable problem. It took that full invasion to send a wake-up call. Actually sending this wake-up was probably Putins biggest mistake.
Yes, they did; but most people are hypnotized by television entertainment and did not want
to know about it. Hence, the journalists were not paid to write about it and the elected
officials were not motivated to do anything about it or even talk about it. It did not help
that a Putin stooge was in place as president of Ukraine until Zelenskyy was elected.
US intelligence and probably MI-5/6 whatever but politicians have to act.. not stand around with their fingers up their noses

I have asked this question before Denys your a pilot, why is there no movement to buy and arm small planes to hunt drones over Ukraine?
There has to be hundreds of thousands of small planes worldwide available.
It would be cheaper and could be equipped with 50 cal machine guns.
It is also easier to train pilots to fly these planes.
