    Really enjoyed this full-length motion picture of another stellar build. And to paraphrase Phil, "Sprueverse, Modelling mediocrity at its finest!" 🤣 👍 🤩 Oh, I forgot to add that it took TWO buckets of popcorn for this one.

    Wow! Hey Phil, I think this is the new pinnacle of your work! What a sweet model, and what you did with it is outstanding. It does not get any cooler than this. You should be proud of it. And I love your tip about doing subtle changes in paint. You can clearly see how doing that enriches the build. My eye was particularly drawn to the light housings. It looks damn amazing. All your perseverance is paying off.

    Excellent work on the whole project phil. The additional details with the lights and hoses really make it shine.

    WOW, you did an outstanding job on the Kraken 2 Phil...the focus on all the detail with lighting, hoses, et cetera is amazing. Absolutely Love the Kraken 2. Keep up the great work, and always remember..."Build Something"😊

    Hi Phil. You are absolutely justified in being proud of this model. You went the extra mile with the wires and hoses to really pimp it up 👍. The result is absolutely excellent. I have to agree with Lou about the weathering - something that is meant to be injected into a human body would be scrupulously clean and sterile. Maybe a little panel liner wash to give a bit of contrast but certainly no hydraulic fluid - that stuff is very toxic! 😮 Loved the two hour video - you kept me company in my hobby shed while working on the 1/144 AT-AT that I got at Telford 😊

    For a minute I thought I was watching 'Film 87' with 'Phil 'Barry Norman' Segal!' Boy you cut the film to shreds there!
    The Kraken II has really come out looking fantastic, especially with all the add-ons you have 'added' ...and I love the little battery box too, something I was thinking of adding to my R.Cooper Phoenix when I get around to building her (hint start yours!)
    Well done once again, and here's to the next one 👍

    Hi Phil. Sorry I'm late getting to this. It turned out fantastic. You had me chuckling at the "play with it comment". So I'll need you to get your mind out of the gutter so I can float by, please. 😂 again, awesome job.

    Fabulous top to bottom! Unusual subject well realized. My only observation is that wherever the hoses penetrate a surface, there should be some kind of attach device. A twist turn or screw down hand grip-- even a bit of aluminum tubing would make the point.
    I like your assortment of piping and tubing-- a good selection. I do appreciate your special glam shoot at the end! Finally-- as i recall this IS your channel-- you can do whatever you like. So far, the only aspect of 1-2 hour vids is that I have to break them up. Not preferable as I like a headlong rush-- but so far, so good!

    Great job on this kit Phil. Resin printing is giving garage kits a real boost if this is the standard we are seeing.
    Also I really enjoy spending time in your company as it’s relaxed and positive and you get a lot out of what you’re doing. Thanks very much from a UK subscriber.

    Thats a good job Phil, a lot of work but you sure seem to have got a lot of pleasure doing it.
    For me , that was a handy tip on the glue as I've recently picked up my first ever 3d resin kit from Cozmic and had no firm guide about gluing. The Mondoshawan seems to have tempted us both. If only they did Korben's cab.
    Thanks for sharing

    Nice job Phil. A monster kit for sure. Must be quite a weighty piece! Would some kind of connector or gasket for the pipe from the yellow tank into the hull be an idea. Otherwise it just looks like it goes straight through the hull which would surely be a bit dangerous for Tuck! Cheers

  • @GPGPapercraftTX
    @GPGPapercraftTX Před 6 měsíci +1

    Positive Reinforcement: THe little man leans over you in the quiet shop and whispers "The gauge on that yellow tank on top is absolutely perfect right down to the needle."
    I noticed something, Lots of the details of te ship look "too big". Ithink the model makers imagined the life size ship to have ben built such that when it got really-really small it still worked.

    • @sprueVerse
      @sprueVerse  Před 6 měsíci

      That’s an excellent observation - when you watch the film the hero Kraken Quade climbs into is much smaller in scale to the models overall size. Having built full scale props in my career it’s always cost not aesthetic!
