- Attention!!! In video I was wrong, you must line up all timing adjusters and exhaust side gear right in the center of the mark in the head. Kept loose exhaust gear tight by hand set all timing if you have to move gear tighter to set in center of the head do it and then tight by audi specs. Also it's 20.5 pins from the mark intake adjust to the mark on exhaust side both head left/right

Those pins dont do anything once the cam bolts are torqued. They are not hitting anything.
Have you ever pinned the exhaust cam gear to the cam shaft? I believe a broken cam gear is my issue, I will find out soon.
Очень интересно ... Зачем больше отверстия под маленькие пины ... Я так понимаю это только на выпускном распредвале ... Может это для регулирования тайминг ...
Abricos4440 Да, это для этой цели ! Просто это глупо, как инженеры такое сделали, это же я с двух разных мотор показал. Я не могу поверить что это так двигается там! При затягиваний у Ауди в книжке написано 80Nm + 90* поворот, я сделал 95Nm +90* так на всякий случай.
@@Svarogperformance может под шапочку болта шаибу подложить типа эту nord lock wedge locking washer ...
Abricos4440 нет , там маленький конус я так думаю что бы деталь зажалась но этого не достаточно. Поэтому я добавил 95Nm , так же использовал фиксатор резьбы на всякий случай
@@Svarogperformance я понял но суть в том что прижима болтом и конуса может не хватать и от нагрева отставания этот конус и посадочное место на звезде будут увеличиваться ... Шаибой может удасца внешней зафиксировать звезду к болту ... Но как это будет в реальности .......
Abricos4440 Может быть ! Только шайбу надо найти с таким же теплообменом иначе будет очень плохо ;)
Shouldn’t the links be the same between the IN cam and EX cam on both heads, I know the chain is longer but the cams are the same distance apart?
Yes it’s same! I did mistake in video !!!!! 20.5 pins should be on each side
Hey do you have the timing sheets for this car? If so can you email them to me to give to my mechanic? Or send a link to them
I am doing mine and I think the chain is stretched, I will probably have to take engine out :( 2010 a6 3.0t

I have I cuestión bro can I remove that 1head whit that engine inside that car o I have to take that engine off ?
I think It is passable just take a time and check everything that might be in the way lock the crank shaft with the pin to set timing.
