basically they're all goldfish. all type of goldfish can get along really well in a same tank my tank is combined with angelfish and pleco angelfish for fish lice police they're good to prevent lice like argulus etc

Wait but don't you need the lift tube to create the suction that makes it a filter? You're drastically decreasing the filtration capacity by removing the lift tube and rendering it essentially just as an airstone/bubbler.
