I've been lucky to see Tucky Hama's warehouse and she has the same setup. What I can say to people who complain with the 1gal containers is- I've seen healthier, brighter and more active bettas in these containers than some bettas in lush planted tanks, just because of the level of care that they get. I feel safer knowing Tucky is taking care of my bettas than myself 😭
Tucky is awesome! My volume needs to double before I start importing myself, so she actually imports my boxes for me! Lovely to work with and such a sweet person! She also cares so much about what she does 😊
Hi, thanks for sharing. Suggestion: if you can arrange a longer rectangular tank will be better as all the fishes biologically need to swim forward, it will be much healthier and loner life if they can swim for a distance before turning around. Betta easily has constipation, to avoid this, feed in small amount, twice daily instead of once, can help. Dry pallets need to be soaked in water for a while before feeding, to avoid bloating. From my experience, crowtail betta has a smaller stomach than other types, 1/3 less is better. Check the belly after feeding, the belly should not be too round and big, which means too much food. After an hour, arrange the betta to flare can help to stimulate its digestion. If you have another betta, simply let them see each other for not more than 5 minutes in separate tanks. Some bettas will react and flare only when another betta is around and afraid of seeing its mirror reflection, shrink and swim away😆. Flaring is very important to keep the betta and its fins in healthy condition.
Your fish room is awesome!
awesome! love your videos
thank you for this video
very helpful video thank you so much
Cool betta fish room. Now I’m not guilty to show my 1 gallon growout tanks on my channel.
I get a lot of comments about them on tiktok since it’s very short from content. I find most people understand once I have the time to explain :)
Came here for betta but god you are gorgeous 😍 not a simp but i now identify as a fish and my pronounce is betta/fighter 😅😂
💙💙
Absolutely fabulous! Question do you import/sell mouthbrooding wild type bettas? And also do you also breed bettas , or all imported thank you!! I am a fan of your channel 💯⭐️
Thanks for the questions! I have imported some mouth brooding types before and I would look into expanding to importing more in the future! Currently my splendens have been the most popular so that’s what I’m kinda focusing on currently. I do also breed! I do it as a hobby though, so it’s very intermittent when I have my home bred fish available. I have also bred different types of mouthbrooders, albimarginata and rubra! Right now I have a nice spawn on rubra I am having a lot of fun raising!
PNWBettas rubra are on my to get list, you have a great channel! Thank you so much🙂💯⭐️
Great video!! Very inspiring. I’d love to purchase a betta from you someday. How often do you feed? I used to feed every day but I recently saw a fish keeper say that it’s too often. I wanted to hear your take.
I feed generally once a day and then fast everyone for 2 days every 2 weeks. I ship every other week and I fast all my fish before the ship date, even the ones that aren’t being shipped. It helps prevent accidental feeding of fish that are being shipped, and allows customers to purchase the day before the ship date. And it’s totally safe!
@@pnwbettas Okay that makes total sense. Thank you!!
Wish you shipped to the uk 😢😢
Hi
Hello!!! Love ur videos!! Just a question! Where you buy the hikari product because i founded long time ago but now is really hard to found it and i was at the web and is only a informative page! Thank you for your help
Because I need so much I order online currently. I ordered from That Pet Place. Shipping was only $30 and it arrived very very frozen still, no issues. live aquaria sells it as well.
@@pnwbettas what’s the page of that pet store?
@@2BRUJULAS it’s literally called “that pet place”! They have a website you can order from
Do you have a betta shop ( Aquarium)?🙁
What temperature do you keep the betta at?
i know she has her fish room heated, probably around 78 to let all the bettas be at room temp
Can you import bettas to India?😮
You're closer than we are lmfao.
I have a question about the water change, when you use the container the beta is in to scoop the new water out of the clean water tank is that not contamination? Not trying to be a hater I’m just genuinely curious 😊
When I’m adding the new water really I’m just sticking the jar into the tub and new water is flowing in. So it’s the outside of the jar and the very top rim that touch the clean water bin, but not the inside. I hope that kinda makes sense
Live food is alway better and natural
Live food can be tricky. It can be hard to find good clean sources for it, and can carry diseases. Frozen food goes through sterilization processes which is why it’s my preference
I feel it's cruel to not keep a betta in a tank with ketapang. There is nothing that they love more.
