Missed an opportunity with "28 Fantastic Easter Eggs, and where to find them"
Fantasy Connect "Fantastic Beastereggs"
I would have gone with " 28 Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them Easter Eggs and Where to Find Them" , but there you go.
That video would be super helpful come Easter time
D
How about "28 Fanatic Easter Eggs and where to find them"?
Newt was not the one who endangered a student. Leta also had an interest in magical beasts and it was her that put a life in danger. Newt (being the true Hufflepuff he is) took the blame
AND IT'S LETA
thanks for pointing that out i was about to...lol
YAS finally I was about to write it!!
and JK confirmed in an interview that Newt was expelled because "he took the blame for something", so, YES.
***** I KNEW IT Leta Lestrange is guilty!! God I just can't wait!!
To be honest, I don't think the phrase "Merlin's Beard" is a swear word in the Harry Potter universe, I think it's more like the equivalent of us Muggles saying "Jesus!" or "Oh my God!" After all, Merlin was said to have existed in the HP universe way before any of the character we know and love were born, so I don't think they'd use his name in place of swearing.
Medieaval Beabe
I always thought it was a polite way to say "Holy shit!" :D
i think the dirty word / swear in the HP world is Bloody Hell rather than Merlin's beard tho
Ameliaa Xavier that is Ron's swear word, indicative of his social class
Greta M. I doubt it. The way Slughorn says it in the sixth film doesn't sound like the way you'd say something as extreme as "Holy Shit." I think it's something lighter than that.
Ameliaa Xavier That's not really what you'd call a "dirty" word though, not in Britain anyway.
Should've called it fantastic Easter eggs and where to find them
It would be harder to find it in search box then
Fantastic Eggs and how to Beat them? :P I enjoyed the movie, by the way I'm just joking around.
Lewis Greaves Fantastic Beastereggs and where to find them
hahahah
it's leta lestrange not leda.. and it was queenie who said hogwash not tina
I'm pretty certain Queenie said it in a questioning way as well, as if she'd never heard of it, so I don't think there is a 'rivalry' between the two schools..
Queenie said "hogwash" to Hogwarts being superior to her school, because she thought that ridiculous. Just some school pride. I would say there isn't much of a "rivalry" per se because her school never took part in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. So the schools are probably in different "divisions" and don't really ever interact with European schools on the other side of the pond.
Contradae Yeah I only just realized she didn't say it in a questioning way xD I agree, I feel like they have different versions of what Hogwarts does, but with schools closer to Ilvermorny.. Maybe I don't know xD
was about to comment that too. thank you
Its leviosa not leviosar
Hagrid and Newt and would be great friends
or Hagrid is the future Newt! There is a new theory!!!
They were friends who do you think gave him aragog
No mention that Dumbledore's sister likely had the same affliction that Credence did? Deathly Hallows made it clear that she couldn't control her magic after some muggles bullied her. That's why Dumbledore's Mom died and likely the reason that Ariana died too. She was probably triggered by Albus, Aberforth, and Grindewald's fighting and couldn't suppress the Obscurial. Dumbledore may not have known what happened because obscurials were considered myth(as shown in Fantastic Beasts). It would also explain Grindewald's fascination with obscurials
Sean Macy The Obscurus, you mean. Arianna would've been the Obscurial.
mind=blown. That explains a lot!
Actually not... the obscurus as explained in the movie happens when a child is heavily trying to hide his magic, suppress it at no cost. Arianna wasn't trying to conceal her magic for her family was magical, but instead, very sadly, was just deranged for the attack she suffered... In other words, she wasn't repressed, she was just "crazy"... if she was an obscurus she would have killed albus or geller or both
She might not have consciously suppressed it, though. Maybe the trauma of what those muggle boys did to her caused her to associate her magic with the attack, therefore causing her to subconsciously squash her magic. This still could have resulted in an Obscurus.
I was also thinking that Harry could have also turned out to become an Obscurial if the Dursley's had physically abused him. As it was, magic was already a forbidden word and phenomena in their home, and they treated him very badly.
IT'S HEDWIG'S THEME
NOT SONG
Sorry had to get that off my back
Evelyn Hiscock I know I got so annoyed when he called it Hedwig's Song!
😂 same
Evelyn Hiscock ii
Evelyn Hiscock I wanted to yell that too in the comments, I may join you even if it's been done by you
ITS HEDWIGS THEME
NOT HEDWIGS SONG
Evelyn Hiscock and I think we all got annoyed
The deathly hallow symbol was what tipped me off to Grindelwald being related to Percival Graves
For me it was the hair in the begining XD
The interview with Newt and the obvious foreshadowing throughout the first act tipped me off.
Yeah, the Deathly Hallows symbol was the clincher there.
Well duh
Doble Alfa me too
Dude. Dumbledore didn't just like Grindelwald.
Erik aka Trash ha right
That's what he meant when he said it in the video. It's not a surprise. In the original book Dumbledore did use the word "love' multiple times, and I believe Rowling already confirmed it like a decade ago.
Steven Josette
Contradae Yeah, she said he was a homosexual.
hahaha 😂
Am I the only one who thinks Eddie Redmayne (Newt) would be right at home playing the Doctor? He wouldn't even need to change his costume, and also, the endless possible Harry Potter/ J.K. Rowling references would be, in a word. . .fantastic!
EiferBrennan #EDDIEREDMAYNEFOR13THOR14THDOCTOR
(he may not be 13 because of Fantastic Beasts filming)
EiferBrennan omfg couldn't agree more
Missycrafter Potter yeah, I think he'd be 14, because isn't Capaldi already 13?
Alexandra Mabel I'm so glad I'm not alone in this one!
EiferBrennan like some sort of new Matt Smith he would just PERFECTLY fit this type of character
Newt Scamander was on the Marudas Map
what movie, where, and how do you know? Please tell me! I must see this.
Lorraine Durbin it's an Easter egg for Fantastic Beasts. It was when Fred and George gave Harry the Map in prisoner of Azcaban
prisoner of azcaban!
that scene isnt canon....he s not mentioned anywhere in the books
It's in Prisoner of Azcaban. The marauder's map. It's super quick.
The scene where Credance is being bullied or intimidatedby his "Mum" [ adoptive] And she says "I am not your MUM, my sister was your Mum , and she was an evil" ...............Reminds me of the scene in Harry Potter where Aunt Petunia talk about Harry's mom being worthless and strange!
Written by JK, she did that on purpose. Probably to illustrate how times have changed and how the culture is different in America. If Harry was born there, at that time, the same could've happened to him.
Except, she didn't say that. She doesn't mention who his mother is.
I thought she said "I'm not your mother, your mother was unnatural!" butmaybe Ijust missed it..
Queniee was actually the one who said "hogwash"
There's a scene where Colin Farrel's character, Percival Graves, calls Credence a "Squib" (a wizard-born with no magical abilities like Argus Filch.). This happened before the "big reveal" of who Graves really was. I knew immediately, Percival Graves was non-American. Squib is a term used among wizards in the UK.
jk rowling said that newt actually took the blame for someone and is the reason why he got expelled from hogwarts
Zain Ali yes, probably has something to do with Leda Lestrange
jeeYeefLP I think so too
Leta :)
Miss Skyla oh right, sorry xD
jeeYeefLP not your fault. Do you know how many mistakes in spelling or pronounce there is in this vid?! XD it's seriously getting on my nerves!
I find it quite funny that Grindlewald was PERCIVAL Graves when Dumbledore is Albus PERCIVAL Dumbledore.
TheSCoolest Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
Nice catch, I totally missed that!
Thats who dumbledore was named after
TheSCoolest OMG UR RIGHT
TheSCoolest Albus Perceval Wolfric Brian Dumbledore, but yeah, that is _interesting._
Wasn't it Queenie not Tina who said Hogwash?
yes it was :)
Yes, it was Queenie. Not Tina.
He also said 'Hedwig's Song' when its actually 'Hedwig's Theme'.
& Frank the Thunderbird was also a reference to the Ilvermorny house, Thunderbird House.
Also its spelt LETA Lestrange not Leda Lestrange.
Also Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) & Johnny Depp (now Gellert Grindelwald) are close friends & frequent co-stars.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Like Tim Burton movies (Alice In Wonderland, etc)
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them thanks i needed someone to pont this stuff out
Yes
Also Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) & Johnny Depp (now Gellert Grindelwald) are close friends & frequently co-star in films together.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Like Tim Burton films
The thunderbird isn't supposed to be a confusion towards why it isn't in the textbook, it's a reference to the Ilvermorny house Thunderbird
I mean, yes, you're right, because all of the Ilvermony houses were names after magical creatures, but it still wouldn't explain why the creature didn't make it into the book he published.
Nicky Morris that's true
it could also be they thought thunderbirds were extinct and that was the last one he was trying to protect or something.
jon emery that's also true... I just don't think the main reason it appeared in the movie was to wonder why it wasn't in the book, but to rather make a easter egg to illvermorny... Maybe in the future films, we will get a chance to learn more about the American school
Nicky Morris actually the newer version of fantastic beastes includes the thunderbird as well as the wampus and the horned serpent
blampied is a fantastic beast confirmed
The "Hedwig's Song" isn't a thing, it's called "Hedwig's Theme".
"Hedwig's Song" is actually "Hedwig's Theme". Fact check.
If you look at the scene where Fred and George give Harry the maurers map in Prisoner of Azkaban you can see Newt Scamander walking about the castle......
I feel like you missed out on good title, "28 Fantastic Easter eggs and where to find them" or something of that sort
I understood the Quidditch reference, lol.
Impressive! Gold star!
I just thought the seeker vs chaser was a thing about his personality. he doesn't simply seek the beasts, he goes after them, sometimes in a brash manner, letting nothing get in his way.
Probably both, but it's definitely a Quidditch joke.
Austin McIntyre obviously a quidditch joke
It is a pun. But it is there because it is a Quidditch joke
Austin McIntyre its because hufflepuff are particularly good finders
Newt didn't do anything, he took the blame for the LeStrange girl he was in love with.
Ooooh, I like the sound of that. Is it a theory or did Rowling say that somewhere?
Rowling said it in an interview
ishaan sodhi Now that's something!
Well it wasn't confirmed that it was for the lestrange girl.
I think
i think it is Leta not Leda Lestrange
maybe lita? like lolita or smthn
I saw the film with subtitles and they put it as Leta
MegaGoddamit I agree. That's what it says in the screenplay/Book
That Colin Farrell character twist at the end was hilarious. Just who they picked to play him
SomeRandomDoctor fekin majic
***** Yeah and if there wasn't going to be a sequel it would've been a waste of a high profile actor. At least in the sequel some questions can be answered as to why this role deserves such star power. I also enjoyed the Ron Perlman scene
watch him in black mass and in sweeney todd i find that he acts better as a villainous character I think he wont do the crazy wackyness I hope
Leta*
It was Queenie that said " Hogwash!" not Tina ahaha
Ok, so if Newt was actually expelled from Hogwarts, why does he keep his wand but Hagrid doesn't?
like hagrid, newt stole and kept the pieces. However Newt is smarter and managed to rebuild his wand whilst Hagrid only managed to stuff the remains into his umbrella.
Em83 Rowling said that it's going to be explained in future films
Just some dude. You can't rebuild a wand mate. Don't you remember Harry's broken holly wand in deathly hollows or ron's in chamber of secrets?
Only the elder wand can repair a broken wand and make it work again
Em83 it's possible that the reason was because Hagrid was expelled for killing moaning myrtle. As far as we know, the incident with newt didn't end up killing someone so he didn't lose his wand.
Since JK has said 1) She will explain later, and 2) Leta Lestrange was the one who caused the accident.....I think Dumbledore knowing that it wasn't Newt's fault and favoring him like he does with the Potter Trio later on, he probably had something to do with it.
actually queenie said hogwash
It took a while but I have finaly realised who Ben sounds like! He is secretly voiced by Milton Jones doing a news presenter impression.
so wait, newt never caught the Billywig, so a fat, noisy blue bug is just flying around new York and no one will ever see it?
There were several of them in the case, and one was eaten so they appeared to be there as a food source, not something he was protecting. I suspect the one in New York won't last very long.
No-majs aren't usually observant enough to catch their quick movements
I actually didn't catch that at first but my friend and I were talking about it on the way home last night and she mentioned that they never caught the Billywig. I assume this will be brought up in the later films or it might just be something the filmmakers overlooked.
Also when it stings you freeze up and float with a giddy feeling
Blue (Billy)Wig... Harry, school, teacher... if that teacher's name was Billy...
Merlin's Beard this video is great, thank you
Cool video! You overlooked the Demiguise, and how most really fancy invisibility cloaks are made from their hair (mentioned in the books) yet Harry's was not.
I laughed at how unexpected it was for Johnny Depp to appear.
When Hogwarts was mentioned it was Queenie that said Ilvormorny was the best school and then she was the one that replied with “Hagwash”
Did anyone else reflect over the possible connection between the obscurios and Ariana?
does that mean Gridelwald was arrested with the Elder Wand in his possesion? I don't recall his wand looking like the elder wand at the time....
Probably not but we will find out
Presumable he used Percival Graves' wand while he was impersonating him.
Scottish Chemist See, i was thinking Percival Graves was an entirely fictional persona invented to work within the MaCUSA
Contradae The trouble with that idea is that he's a high ranking Macusa official, who seems to have the trust of the President.
Given that he was drawn to America by visions of a powerful Obscurial, which he only managed to locate during the course of the film, he can't have been there all that long.
I don't think there would be time for a made up persona to climb so high in the hierarchy.
Plus surely someone would notice that this new person had not attended Ilvermorny, which would attract questions.
Contradae if he did Tina owns the wand now because wand law is completely retarded after the last hp book, so she got to die or plot hole,
I CAUGHT SO MANY OF THESE WHILE WATCHING IT IN THEATERS OMG I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF.
The last one brings my feels to the clouds and makes me cry like a baby. As a complete Heath Ledger obsessive that was the first thing I thought about when Collin Farrell turned into Johnny Depp
I'm just watching the video without even watching the film
Queenie said hogwash not Tina #whenugetlifewrong
In the bit with the # it says nuget lol
Realy enjoyed this video, I only just watched the film today and i loved it. I'm also happy that I spotted a few of them myself, but the those I didn't know was an added bonus :)
the lingering memory of Jacob Kowalski and of course Queenie coming into the shop at the end likely signifies his involvement in future films but also potentially latent magical powers, the inspiration for his baking ideas coming from memories that should've been erased may lead to a future related plot line
I'd watch Saving Private Newt
What about Newt's brother being a war hero?
Some of these I got when watching the film (I am so happy I saw the Grindylow) but there is ANOTHER connection with the Bowtruckle as Harry actually had a lesson on them and has to do Homework afterwards, I believe it is book 5 at the beginning of his school year.
Interesting note that the name Grindlewald chose for his disguise is one of Dumbledore's middle names, I see you there Percival
It was Queenie that got into the argument of the greater wizarding school, not Tina.
Before the guy said who he was I thought it was being narrated by Matt Berry lol
Thanks!! That was interesting!!
The song is called Hedwig's Theme. And the Deathly Hallows sign was used and widely known as Grindelwald's personal sign. It is so that Krum tried to fight Xenophilius at Fleur and Bill's wedding for wearing it. Gellert and Albus knew the symbols, but other wizards didn't. Other than that it's a fantastic video!
As for Leta Lestrange, it is more likely she's the reason Newt got expelled in the first place. Rowling did mention he was kicked out of school for taking responsibility for a mistake that wasn't his. I strongly believe it might've been Leta. If that's the case, it would be one the Sorting Hat's biggest mistakes to place her in Hufflepuff, considering she'd be anything but loyal. Which makes me even more curious to know about her, can you imagine a Slytherin befriending a Hufflepuff?
Roses Are Red,
Violets Are Blue,
I Am not First,
And Neither Are You.
Tragic :(
Isn't it Hedwig's Theme?
Yesssss!!! I was wondering if you'd mention the Grindylows. Though I tied them to Remus' office.
There's a perfume ad in the film that has a similar ad on a billboard in Half Blood Prince. Both have the words "Divine Magic" on them.
will Newt be the Main Character in all 5 movies????
Assuming they are all fantastic beast movies then yes, probably. Four more movies are supposed to be coming. No clue if they will all be fantastic beasts or not though.
Conner Hanks apparently not
Nope, next ones will focus on Grindelwald more than Newt. Even JK realizes she can't make 5 movies about Newt. Too bad she didn't think it through and name the series something else.
Blue Green Eh without question you could get 5 movies out of newt simply based on the world expanding. We know a good bit of grindelwald's story already. At least the major events anyhow.
hinro
And yet we got one and alredy Grindelwald and him wanting an Obscurial was a big part of it. Yates admitted that Newt's role is going to be smaller as the movies come and that Grindelwald will have be a major character of the sequel.
Hedwig's Theme! Not song
Billywig stingers are also used in the wizard candy Fizzing Whizzbees. The book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them even has some writing from either Harry or Ron that reads "Last time I eat them".
I appreciate how this movie didn't ride ENTIRELY on the Harry Potter franchise. It felt like an entirely separate entity. Hogwarts and Dumbledore were only mentioned once each by main characters, and every other HP references were only in the background like the ones mentioned in this video.
Kowalski is showing blue prints of his bakery to the bank for the loan JK Rowling name is on it
It was Queenie who said 'Hog-wash' not Tina! All in all a really great video!
I laughed my ass off when Hermeony shouted "Merlin's Pants!" and George mocks her for having done so. As if mention of his beard was not bad enough, another unmentionable his pants. OMG I was in tears of laughter.
If you look at Tina's necklace in one of the last scenes when Newt it getting onto the boat, you will see that it is actually very similar to the golden egg that the dragon was guarding in the first triwizard task!
Also, does anybody find it weird that Grave's first name is Percival, and one of Albus Dumbledores middle names is Percival?
Its called Hedwigs theme not Hedwigs song
I have no idea who thought it would be great idea to start their video with a loud bang and sirens. Why are so many channels loud and obnoxious like this?
A war movie about wizards' involvement in EITHER war would be insanely epic.
I wouldn't necessarily say that Percival Graves is attempting to make himself a leader, as so-and-so used a polyjuice potion to disguise himself as Percival, meaning the real him is still out there somewhere, potentially still alive.
Probably still alive, as Barty Crouch Jr. did with Mad Eye Moody. You need hairs from them regularly and the quantity of viable hairs drops, when they're dead and not growing any.
Hair can stay intact long enough to be usable years after the death of their owner, he doesn't really need Graves' hair ton impersonate him permanently once he got all what he wanted from his mind, because I guess as a great manipulator, he must be a really good Legilimens.
Crouch could have had the intention of killing Moody after the Triwizard tournament anyway for xhat we know, he just kept him alive for information about himself or to get him released afterwards, making his intervention unknowable to baffle Dumbledore who did not suspect a thing during the entire year...
why is it absolutely necessary that Gellert used polyjuice? Why not human transfiguration and charm work. After all Metamorphmagus exist in the HP universe. Polyjuice may have worked better due to the missing eye and leg for Mad-eye but that doesn't limit the creative freedom of a rare or unknown spell.
Something That Was Missed Out Was-
Dumbledor's Sister Might Have Been An Oblivion,
She Was Made Fun Of For Being A Wizard And Called A Freak,
Although It's Said That She Was Beat Up,
It Could Just Be That She Pushed The Magic Inside Of Her Inward,
Since She No Longer Wanted To Be Called A "Freak".
Eventually She Explodes Because Of All The Magic In Her And Kills Her Mother
Liz E. its called an obscurus
Obscurial. Obscurus is the black thing inside the person. The host is called obscurial but you're right, definitely not an "oblivion". :)
it wasn't Tina that said hogwash it was queenie
Loved the movie and I really love this Easter eggs video!
I finally got to watch it yesterday
Imagine if Newt was expelled for bringing the giant squid to Hogwarts!
JK PLEASE
wasn't he? pretty sure
Sounds about right, doesn't it?
no actually he was "expelled" because Lata Lestrange endangered a life of a student but then Newt took the blame. But he still graduated
LETA NOT LATA
I watched this movie yesterday
Adam B face in the bubble at 9:34 made my day. That posh guy who likes wrestling is my OG of whatculture
The appearance of Johnny Depp ruined the mood of the rest of the movie for me because I kept laughing after the big reveal.
Did anybody notice that one of Credence's 12 siblings were Neville Longbottom? (Or had the same face.)
Might have been one of his parents/relatives.
The SkywalkerMicrowave. It was Neville...
jason disgrace J.K put it on Pottermore...I think... .
It was the same actor! Like seriously! I think so, anyway...
+Tumbleweed TheProxy So Neville is over 100?
Never stop the #ShitStuffForWankers jokes...I love them
I just realised that when Harry touched the deathly hallows necklace he called the death eaters to lovegood's house.
I think it was actually Xenophilius, when he pronounced Voldemort’s name, who called the Death Eaters. The name was jinxed at the time.
Yeah, Xenophilius did it on purpose to attempt to save his daughter, he was still troubled by it though.
patheater 9000 I believe he sent an Owl or Some kind of bird (Perhaps a Crow, as seen outside his house?). This is also mentioned in the books, as Harry accuses him of sending an own, to which Xenophilous doesn't deny
Patheater Exactly!!!! 😲 maybe when the Lovegoods went traveling to find Crumple Horn Snorcacks they met one of Grindlewald's followers who gave it to Xenophilius telling him that it was the sacred symbol of Nargles or something! And when the Death Eaters kidnapped Luna, they probably told him to touch it when he found Harry! Yeah, it fits!!
Check out my Mom's website at babymoonbirthservices.com
And mine at emmasstorytime.weebly.com
I love how it said Dumbledores terrifying enemy, when it’s more like his terrifying ex-friend with semi-unrequited lovey feelings
I thought it would've been cool if percival carried the elder wand
Me too but it would give him away.
sam8404 that would basically give away his identity so it was smart not to use it while he was impersonating graves
sam8404
It would give away his identity to us the audience. A minor detail at few fans would see frist time around. because the wand is a legend no knew what it look like therefore could not have identified the wand as so.
Yeah he needed to use Percival's wand to impersonate him.
"Hedwig's Song".... aaaand we're done watching the video. Fact check is important!
Fantastic! I noticed none of these, except the merlins beard thing.
Another Easter egg would be at the start when quwoski was showing the bank his drawing off the bakery it had j.k.rowling as one of the signs
Yes, #shitblankforwankers made it in 😂
has anyone told you that you sound exactly like matt berry?
as in dr. "you and him were... buddies, weren't you" sanchez.
I once new a guy who sounded exactly like Seth Rogan
I really thought that it was him too. Swear I heard a bit of Douglas Reynholm!
OML I absolutely love your voice!
Lol at the dig at Adam Blampied at 9:32
jesus how old was Dumbledore in the Harry Potter books if he was already a teacher in 1926?
he was born in 1881, so he was already over 100 in the hp books. wizards live longer than muggles though, up to like 150 years i think
Kate S
Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks!
Also due to the fact that Dumbledore had his hands on the Philosopher's stone has something to do with his age.
It is possible but how you explain Aberforth then? He was still alive in Deathly Hallows part two, which took place in May 1998.
Ormi Ader Well Albus didn't die of old age, he was killed. It's very believable that Aberforth is still alive given the long lives wizards have
Queenie was the one who said that Hogwarts was Hogwash. Just sayin'.
None of these references "rang any bells" with me. I enjoyed this movie on it own merits & now have a desire to research the main actor plus the 2 that played the sisters. They were beautiful! I DID however very much have flashbacks to my childhood with the interior decor scenes in the sisters flat & the brilliant interiors of the Ministry's building. Fantastic video!
It was Queenie. Not Tina. Who said Ilvermorny was 'the best Wizarding School in the whole world' & 'Hogwash'.
& Frank the Thunderbird was also a reference to the Ilvermorny House, Thunderbird.
Grindlewald does not have the Elder Wand, yet.
How do you know that?
Um...I thought he did. He used it to cause all the trouble in England before fleeing to America and taking on a disguise.
Didn't he get beaten by all of those wizards in the duel at the end? If so, the Elder Wand would no longer belong to him and the timeline for the wand is "That-Wand-Maker-Who-I-Forget-The-Name-Of to Grindelwald to Dumbledore", Not "Grindelwald to some rando back to Grindelwald to Dumbledore"
Well he didn't lose the want until the 40's and he had it before his trip to America. That's the timeline. (Unless he has a second American trip)
Also. I thought you had to kill the owner in order to become the new owner. Or is that not the case?
It doesn't necessarily involve killing, no. Harry become the rightful owner after just disarming Malfoy (And that didn't even involve the Elder Wand at all)
It's certainly possible that he could have had two trips. I don't know, it just feels iffy giving him the Elder Wand and then having him beaten so badly.
Please let Farrel keep the role and throw away Depp, he suck and Farrel nailed it!
gilzineto depp had like 1 line and 2 minutes of screentime how could you possibly say he sucked? But it would be cool if Farrel was to appear again as the real percival graves..
jeeYeefLP
He suck, period, and yet, he also did suck in it, after he was revealed he acted exactly like he does in all movies, as if his face changing also change his personality, as he started acting completely different from graves... He not a good actor and Farrel is a fucking awesome actor and his character was a really good villain!
gilzineto of course he behaves different after he gets unmasked and you really can't tell what he's going to be like after this short scene.. just please wait until we have really seen him in the role, then you can hate him as much as you want if you still think he sucks
gilzineto well, I have to admitt that you're right about him always acting the same.. but still I'll give him a chance first and start complaining after i've seen the second movie.. and they're definitely not gonna give the role to farrel as he already has a role in the franchise and nobody would understand it if suddenley 2 characters would be played by different people... just sayin..
never mind how much depp sucked; colin farrell nailed it and i didn't think he would. He gave the movie so much weight and was a good counterpoint to Eddie Redmayne (who I thought just sort of shuffled around aimlessly). It would be great to see him again as the real Graves, and he already comes with a cool backstory.
Also, there were a few moments during the scene where the muggles witnessed the protective shield raised over the train station where they focussed on this one guy in the crowd who unlike everyone else was smiling. They focussed on him again when the rains took their memories and I really want to know if there's any significance in that.
MERLIN'S BEARD! IT'S HEDWIGS THEME
