I'm actually pretty optimistic about the movies simply because J.K. is writing them. If it was someone, anyone, else I would have just said "Oh, it's a cash grab, great!" But I think she can be trusted to not just fuck it all up. Partly because she's already ludicrously wealthy.
CBoy92 she also donates a lot of money and actually uses her money wisely, so she deserves all her success. And she's created an entire universe that's im so excited to learn more about 😁😁😁

yessss!!! I CANT WAIT! and yeah, because its JK it should be amazing! shes already said that this was an aspect of the Magical world that she has always really wanted to explore more, but she didnt get a chance to in the Harry Potter series. So hopefully there will be lots of detail! and hopefully I wont upset anyone who likes the book, but Cursed child in my opinion was bad... I havent read all of it, but I read the beginning and I flicked through it and Ive heard things form it, and it was SOOOO bad and not at all like the characters. And that wasnt written by JK, she only helped a bit. Sorry for ranting xD

What did you think of Fantastic Beasts?
It was real interesting, And yesterday i watche The Deathly Hallows part one and realized that Hagrid said to Harry that he transported Harry to The Dursleys when Harry was no bigger than a 'Bowtruckle' The creatures that are introduced to us in Fantastic Beasts. So, in reality, J.K. Rowling has been giving us hints about 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' since 2007!! Can you believe that?!
And That if you didn't know, There was a lot of scenes that were cut, Some of them were when Queenie and Tina sang the ilvermorny school song and Jacob's girlfriend leaving him. But my favorite was when Credence Barebone was seen boarding the same ship that Newt boarded. I suggest you to find out more about these scenes.

Perhaps Grave is a follower/fan or cohort of Grindelwald (who'd be in his 40's, maybe hiding out in America after stealing the Elder Wand)? Perhaps one of the Hollows shows up in this film or features in the next few? Or maybe he's an eventual main bad guy who pursues the legend of the hollows for himself.
I don't know, but it's exciting to think about the potential of FIVE new movies that could be used to explain or show so much of the lore in the HP universe.

I could list a million reasons other than the good looks as to why Hufflepuff is awesome and you should never have felt bad about it in the first place.
I would always prefer a hufflepuff or ravenclaw guy in real life even though I am slytherin!! and not just because they are good looking!!
Gilded Rose okay that's fair, the quiz does get it wrong sometimes. you might be more Hufflepuff than you think though. but who knows, when I retook that quiz it tried to put me in GRYFFINDOR which I am definitely not, not only am I not particularly courageous or daring, I don't value bravery and all that nearly as much as I value Hufflepuff traits (and some Ravenclaw traits)
Sam, Bowtrukles and Nifflers were introduced in Harry Potter before Fantastic Beasts. Hagrid told their class to use a niffler to find gold he buried. And he said bowtrukles loved in trees and were extremely fragile. So they were introduced before this. But they were explained and looked farther into in this movie, so ur right in a way!
Actually, Professor Grubbly-Plank taught them about bowtruckles.

But in the movie, its said that he got expelled by almost killing someone with a beast by an accident... Plot hole?

And the book said he was born in 1897, but the guy said Newt was born in 1908. In addition, Dumbledore was born in 1881, and since Newt had Dumbledore as a teacher, Dumbledore would be only 27, which is very young to be teaching

Also, Newt was born in 1897 and started Hogwarts in 1908, so Dumbledore /would/ be 27 in Newt's first year, however, you can see his importance as when he fought for Newt's education, he was denied. So this implies that he wasn't overly important in the school board at this time.
If you ran a school, and you assigned your students a textbook, you wouldn't want them to know the author was a high school dropout. It might say he graduated because it doesn't want to say he was expelled
As someone who never really watched Harry Potter, i think Fantastic Beasts is a really great way to introduce people to the wizarding world of HP without slinging all the stuff about HP at their faces and making them go "Wait- what...?". I really enjoyed watching Fantastic Beasts and I definitely look forward to future instalments.

I saw it pretty recently, and it was absolutely great. It doesn't have a completely Potter-y feel, but it had plenty of familiar names from the Potter franchise (there's a Lestrange mentioned in there). I can't believe there's going to be five. I was too young to "grow up" with the original series, so I can't wait to be able to grow up with this one.
Plus, Ezra Miller's character was mindblowing. I wanted to give him a large hug for a large amount of time. Can't wait to see what else Credence has in store...

I went to go see it today with my sister for a sisters day out. The Nibbler is definitely my favorite animal. I also really loved it! When I told my sister that there would be 4 more movies after she squealed. She loves Harry Potter so much and when they mentioned Dumbledore she almost fell out of her seat. I can't wait to see more in the following years, I really want to be an actress mainly because of Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki, and last, but not least, Eddie Redmayne. I loved him before Fantastic Beasts came out and when I found out he was in the movie I freaked out. Also you just earned a new subscriber, I love how outgoing you are.
