Usually they hold off on the TVI until backup is in place. Unsure really what his plan was since he was obviously able to run with him.
Honda coulda downshifted and dropped speed vs. braking. Not sure if an E brake illuminates the brake lights or not so that coulda been another option. Or, Booth screwed up which seems more likely with the comment jury.

My guess is that they were doing 130+ and there was a lot of air turbulence coming off he Accord. The Charger's nose went light, so when he tapped the bumper he basically had very little front end grip, deflected, grip returned and he went straight into the wall.
It was the radio station that caused that crash! Does ASP not supply its officers with window breaking spikes? Those tools often come with a seatbelt cutter as well. And they're cheap!
Honda is a LOT lighter and can get up speed a lot more easily. Probably maneuver better, too. Charger has the top end and can maintain it a lot better, though.

Hope Booth gets some training and not sent to the California Highway Patrol where he can only follow perps until they run out of gas.
Trooper clearly needs more training on High speed Pitt maneuvers. When the Suspect runs u get on Radio and get them Air Assets in the Air aka Helicopter then radio for additional units!! The Trooper dash cam has the plates of Suspect. And even though the Suspect got away for now when they catch him they need to be Charged with fleeing the scene of hit and Run
I don’t understand fully I have had a lot of interactions with police some good some bad(as in I was definitely in the wrong) haven’t had a single interaction with police where they were doing something wrong. I know bad cops are out there but they seem few and far between. I travel across the country at least for a couple months of the year yet never really experienced a cop do anything “criminality” towards anyone I have been to almost every state at this point.
I mean, this is more about the cop being an idiot than it is about the person running. If cops were actually looking out for people’s safety they would not chase at these types of speeds, and especially wouldn’t try and pit at these speeds.
Arkansas is legendary in regards to the aggressiveness they use to stop fleeing suspects- I know his seniors are not too happy with him right now- especially his training officer 😂
