    What a beautiful family you have. So appreciate a person who takes responsibility for a spill and cleans it up themselves! You had a good momma ❤❤❤

    About to buy one but wanted to see an honest video of a washing. The rug looked great and that salad looked fantastic! Great video.

    If the edges ripple, try using a good steamer with a metal steam head to smooth it back out.

    I had a ruggable but since it has no non slip backing and it doesn’t stay on the rug pad i unfortunately got rid of the ruggable and bought a 6x9 washable rug from sams club for 100 bucks. It has a non slip backing and I’ve washed it multiple times with no issue whatsoever. With the ruggable if you have a pet that has an accident that padding underneath can’t be cleaned and it’s like a sponge and soaks up the urine which in turn stinks and if you throw out the padding for the rug you basically have a a blanket on the floor that will slip and slide all over the place. So many other companies are making rugs 100 times better than ruggable and they are less than half the price

      It shrinks after drying in low heat. Then the pad doesn’t fit. Ruggable needs to be less chintzy and make the rugs slightly larger to take shrinkage into account.

    With smaller spills (like water etc) did you notice it was easy to clean up, or did that also soak in a little bit?

    • @styledwright6074
      @styledwright6074  Před 2 lety +4

      There is some surface tension where water will bead up before soaking in. If your pretty quick you can just wipe it off.

  • @maxwellchazstark

    That was too much detergent. If you are going to do a tutorial, measure things so people don’t continue mistakes like that. Residual detergent will attract and trap dirt.

      It is recommended to wash your rug every 12 - 18 months. Most people don't wash their rugs for 2-3 years unless they are viably soiled. Frequently washing the rug will limit its lifespan. Our house is very well kept and the rug is vacuumed often. Feel free to buy one and wash it as often as you would like. 😉
