honestly 20 lb braid on any light jigging setup is overkill i would go 10 to 15

If they are fishing from a cliff or a bridge they need that extra lb but I 100 % agree with you it is over kill I do just fine with 10 lb braid from a bridge and pull in monster bull reds with a 20 lb mono segar leader
