Thatâs so weird, people shouldnât force a reaction and expecting everyone to react the same uncomfortable way is honestly unrealistic. Some people are totally fine with it because itâs normalized. Besides she doesnât get the same slander because she was abused and probably developed an addiction to attachment and other as a means of self-medication.

Just because something is normalized doesn't make it right. Trauma is trauma. Invalidating someone else's trauma just because "society sees it as normal" is weird. The reason a lot of male victims of SA or harassment don't speak up is because people just brush them aside or say they should "want it". I'm not saying everyone has to react the same way. My point was that people arenât gonna all react the same and especially not to both scenes. The most common reaction is of confusion, because Akane is a highschool girl and Arisu is a young adult.
Kento Yamazaki who plays Arisu mentioned in an interview that he made sure Arisu looked awkward holding a gun. His character only played games online it wouldn't be realistic for him to be good and comfortable using a real gun.

If youve never shot a weapon and your life is in danger (so adrenaline is pumping), Iâm sure itâd make it that much harder. I was in the Army and we did a training in basic called NIC at Night (Night Infiltration Course). Couldnât see ish and still had to shoot, and gunfire was going off everywhere. I was stressed

In the manga, there was a huge hole in the middle of the arena that spit boiling water as soon as the game started and it only began WHEN they approached the hole. 3 seconds into that game and she's the only one left alive and the only reason is because she didn't give af about it and went the opposite way đ

Netflix does not promote this series as much as Squid Game. They heavily promote K-series unlike the Jdramas like the First Love: Hatsukoi of Takeru Satoh which is a breath of fresh air for a drama series.

Honestly Chishiya has the best games imo and itâs not even close. Season 1 Arisu and Usagi games were good but fell off in the second season for me. The only exception to that is the King of Spades game which is just as good as the s2 Chishiya games.

Lol this 3 believe they're military professionals. Think it's easy to shoot a fire arm and that they can stay calm during a shooting...while also having time to assert that a granade is being launched in the middle of the night, with no visibility. You are getting the full picture because they show it, arisu doesn't have the commodity to stay on a couch and see what comes his way. That's way I love their reaction, like they think that everyone in this games are him and it's so entertaining đ€Ł

19:00 it probably means that when she won before other members of her team went to play other games and only the four stayed in fear of the king of spade.
It's maybe messed up but chosing the kid as a King was quite smart. Whatever happens the King or the Queen will die at the end of game choosing a King who wouldn't be able to recruit people like her or to play tag was a good idea.
Arisu and Aguni's conversation at the start of this episode has been the main point of the show from the start, so I'm glad people are finally picking up on it.
and yea like you mentioned it is literally a live action anime, so it has pretty consistently portrayed people as superhumanly strong, fast and tough. Akane surviving the Seven of Spades or Arisu surviving being thrown over the cliff obviously isn't realistic, but it is absolutely consistent with the show, they've pulled stuff like that since season 1 episode 2 lol.
it doesn't matter that it's a kid, what matters is that joining the Queen of Spades is dumb as hell regardless. She only had three players with her from the previous game, and it's literally not possible within the rules to win the Checkmate game with that few people, so she has to have just killed most of the players on her side anyway. But even if that wasn't the case, you're dooming yourself to playing the Checkmate game non-stop for the rest of your life.
All you can do is murder innocents repeatedly until you're too exhausted to play, even if you beat all the players you'd just wait until the next generation of players rolls along, or more likely, get killed immediately anyway. It's not at all safer than trying to finish the games.
I just wish that this was promoted equally like Squid Game so that audiences can see how this series is a better than some psych thriller sh"t out there.
Edit: Squid Game S2 was included in the Global TUDUM event of Netflix last year and I ani't see Alice in Borderland S2 in tge list. i may have missed it. But yeah, I guess Tiktok and other shorts gave Squid Game leverage unlike Alice.

Since the final turn is the player's side, the king only needs to touch everyone at the very end. This is a heart-shaped game.

@antebellum2042 wouldn't say stronger but definitely smarter. Remember the king of spades is Ex military. Meaning he is a weapons expert n pro marksman. Not to mention he has tactical knowledge n military strategy. In terms of hand to hand combat he was catching hands from the girls n agiri. Not to mention he was picked up by him dragged along the wall n slammed down hard. Yes the king is strong. But take away his weapons n gear n he is just a man as Agiri said.
Now in a 1v1 between the king n queen of spades. Ultimately it's who can land the killing blow. So honestly it could go to either of them. Where the queen shines is hand to hand n close combat where as the king attacks from a distance n letting his enemies come to him. Plus he uses the open area to his advantage. Get him in a closed off spade n u can wear him out. Just like the gang did. Ya they took heavy losses but it shows the king can't move well in closed spaces.
But yes in terms of skill level of the game the king is stronger only cuz his game is mobile meaning he can be anywhere on the map where as the queen is in a set location.
