1 heat of 8 athletes in a 20-minute jam session. Based on overall impression, ranked 1-8. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest.

No one had the pure creativity that Jesper had, completely deserved the golden knuckles. His uniqueness and swag reminded me of Zeb Powell on skis.
His last trick was the only really creative one but still deserved
he basically did the same thing as he did last year so i dont know about creativity but really impressive tho

@Matei Baciu he was top 3 with those last years aswell I'd say and now that mist others failed and he improved and also had new tricks, it was fair
Jesper is the only competitor that makes every single trick memorable. Every trick is unique. He is the highlight reel. No one else does knuckle huck like him. If your only critique is that he’s done SW double back before, something no one else does in this event, so be it. He should be 3x champ but atleast he finally got what he’s deserved.
Jesper really had to stop himself from responding "Was about time" when asked about what that medal means to him 🤣

Jesper alone did 4 of the best Knuckles I have ever seen
like every year...
In terms of unique and fun jazzy runs, Jesper won that by a landslide. Everyone else was trying to do technical hard stuff, but Jesper really embodied the vibe of the knuckle huck (I mean the event name has huck in it, like cmon) and easily deserved those knucks. Big gz to him and cant wait for more awesome events this year!
About time that Jesper gets the medal. Congrats!

Jesper really captured the charm that should be shown in the knuckle huck. Yeah its cool these guys are landing double corks off the knuckle, but its even cooler to lay out massive double flips or barrel roll off the snow.
Jesper uses the knuckle as a knuckle and not like a jump, so deserved, the GOAT.
jesper used the knuckle more as a jump than anyone else hahahaha. still deserved the win tho
I'd actually disagree, he didn't butter as much and did the most doubles etc., but that win was nevertheless totally deserved

My point was Jesper wasnt doing slopestyle/big air tricks, his doubles where floaty tricks and not comp doubles / corks etc. His manual frontflip, Wormturn 900, backslide big part off the knuckle is the core of my statement.

Every athlete in this event absolutely crushed it. IMO they should all get golds because they're all steezy in their own way. Especially Henrik, man is freak of nature.

what kinda skis do most of these guys use?
They are on freestyle/twin-tip skis. Several of these guys are on K2, Armada and Faction skis. I was able to figure out what most of the skis were, although a few of them I'm not 100% sure on. (Several guys are riding on next year's skis that aren't available yet, so I can't confirm).. But here you go..

Why didn't they do podium medals for the ski knuckle huck, but they did for the snowboard knuckle huck? All these guys threw down some hard tricks, they deserve a little something

No way. if the contest was judged solely on single best trick, then I think Matej would have a chance because his dub was siick. But the contest was on overall impression on all runs. With that in mind, Jesper 100% deserved this. Run after run he slayed it.

The best skier won! Fantastic competition. I hope Jesper will somehow be able to import that medal into Norway - "Brass Knuckles" and everything that looks like them are totally illegal there, and he would be subject to arrest and criminal charges. Someone should warn him...
