Bike Shop Update and plans for the year

- It's been a great year for the Bike Shop in Central Florida. We were able to do great things, but there is still a lot to accomplish. I also want to share my plans for the CZcams channel, riding, and the business.

Hi Alex. For group rides, try to recruit volunteers to lead one or two rides of different speeds and distances from the shop. Love the shop sign, classy.

@Alex Something I learned in my 30 years of owning a business is that if you try to sell to everyone you will sell to no one. As you stated, you need to niche. Could even be a couple of niches. But stay focused.
Also, as you mentioned in the video, be careful of debt. Debt is a tool, when used wisely, can be profitable but I saw so many businesses fail not because they didn't have customers but because they had too much debt, especially in today's environment of high interest rates.
I'll close by offering some advice that was given to me when I first started my business. Find a mentor and use their wisdom to grow your business. It will be the best investment you make.

To be honest I’m really tempted to try to cater to everyone, my wife has to keep reminding me to keep focused.

Group rides is a good idea. Although I most of the times ride solo, riding in group has lot of positive outcomes. Looking forward to more info as the new year unfolds. 🎉 thanks for the videos and promoting central Florida biking.
One of my out of states rides that I want to do is the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville SC.
It goes from downtown Greenville and up to Travlers Rest SC at the foothills of the mountains.
Looks like a great ride. When does it happen?

Is there a market to record / video bike rides for people? Could just be photos for lower end package. I figured with social media being so popular people might want different media forms of them riding
I think people would want it. I do take some pictures when doing the tours as a courtesy
